(A/N) This is another chapter where it's taken place in a character's POV, just like the last one.
Maya's POV
I was happy to help Farkle fix his relationship with Riley. If I had to let anyone date my Riels then it would be Farkle. I know that he would treat her right. When Riley was afraid Farkle wasn't over Smackle, I knew she was overreacting, but I didn't want to tell her that. She needed to figure it out on her own. But when Farkle asked me to help with his plan, I was happy to do so. All I had to do was talk to her until she started thinking on whether she actually wanted to date Farkle or not. After that it was all him.
When I got home and sent Farkle to actually be a man and get Riley back, I flopped down onto my bed and pulled my phone out of my back pocket. Clicking on Instagram I scroll through a ton of posts until I stop on this picture.

Maya's POV
What the hell?! I have never seen this girl in my life. What was Lucas doing with her? Wait... Lucas said that him and Zay were hanging out last night. Oh this is not gonna settle until Maya Hart knows the truth.
Filled with confusion and rage I click off of Instagram and onto the phone app. I scroll through my contacts until I land on his: Huckleberry😘🐴He picks up the phone on the third ring.
(A/N) The text in italics is Maya's thoughts.
Lucas: Hey babe, what's up? Don't call me that.
Maya: Oh nothing, just missed ya. How was last night? Even though I already know what happened
Lucas: W-Wait what do you mean? Oh you know.
Maya: You know, you and Zay? What did you two do?
Lucas: O-Oh that...right. We just hung out at his place and watched movies. Liar.
Maya: What movies did you watch?
Lucas: I don't know the names. Zay picked them because he assured that they were good. Lucas chuckles and I can't help but roll my eyes. Oh yeah I'm sure you don't remember the movies you supposedly watched LAST NIGHT!!
Maya: Oh that sounds like fun.... He's in for a world of hurt. How was the carnival last night?
Lucas: Carnival? What carnival? I didn't go to a carnival. Strike one.
Maya: Don't lie to me Lucas. I know that you lied to me about last night, went to a carnival, and your secret girlfriend posted it on Instagram!!
Lucas: Maya I- oh no don't try to make this better.
Maya: Don't! I let you into my life and let my guard down... for YOU!! I never want to see you again!!
Lucas: I never meant to hurt you... Strike three and you're out.
I hung up the phone and scream into my pillow. I would've cried, but I'm not a crier, especially not over some guy. I'm glad Farkle and Riley have each other, at least I know he'll never hurt her.
Questions still picked at the side of my brain and tears threaten to spill down my cheeks. But I didn't let them.
Why would Lucas do this? Am I not good enough? Whatever, maybe I'm just meant to be alone... unless...
