"I knew her, but at the same time I didn't. She looked different and had been flirting with the guy she was with and it was as if everything she once was and once had was just thrown away. I know I should have let her go and have moved on by right now but the truth is that it still hurts to see her with someone. I feel like it shouldn't hurt me not being with her is a good thing. A part of me knows it's best for both of us and that I should just let the situation go, and a part of me has let it go. Another part of me has yet to let it go and I don't know if it ever will," Luke explained to Jenna the week after the almost encounter with Becca, "If I found something or someone that made me as happy as she did, maybe it wouldn't hurt as much. Maybe I wouldn't feel as empty without her in my life.""What else makes you happy?" Jenna asked.
"Music, I guess," Luke said, "I play guitar and sing."
"Have you considered writing something about how you're feeling?" Jenna asked.
"Like a poem or a song? Not really. I can't think of how I would word everything," Luke answered.
"You don't have to think about it. You just write whatever you feel," Jenna told him.
"How do you know things like that about songwriting?" Luke asked.
"I used to write when I was around your age and sometimes do it in my spare time," Jenna explained.
"Maybe I'll try to write something about it then," Luke said.
