"Here's what I have so far," Luke said, handing Jenna the piece of paper that had all the lyrics he wrote down, "It's not finished yet. I need to add more lyrics and organize what order everything is going to go in and tweak some of the lyrics I have so far-"

"This is really good," Jenna replied, interrupting him, "Do you have a melody or anything to it yet?"

"I don't. I didn't really think too much about that honestly. I can play guitar and sing decently but I've never composed anything of my own," Luke explained, laughing slightly.

"It's good so far," Jenna told him with an encouraging smile, "I'm glad that you've found a way to express how you feel about all of this."

When Luke got home, he felt somewhat better. He felt more energized and excited to get back to writing the song.

For the first time in forever, he sat down at the piano in his living room and started to play a couple of chords until he found something that he liked. He came up with a melody that fit the same key and by the end of the night, the song was nearly done.

He couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

He showed the song to Jenna when he saw her again the following week.

Jenna was happy that Luke had found a way to deal with everything that had happened and found a creative way to express what he was feeling rather than keeping it to himself.

As Luke walked out the door, he saw a piece of paper flying in the wind.

Out of sheer curiosity, he ran to find it, and picked it up, only to see that it was a flyer for an open mic night.

He took it home and thought that maybe, just maybe, it could be a possibility.
