(Third POV)

Toriel had taken the child home straight away instead of letting the child survive on their own. This was due to the child's stomach growling loudly with hunger and she couldn't just abandon the child to roam freely on an empty stomach. It would be the most unorthodox for the former mother to do such a thing. As soon as she was home she set the child down and quickly got out the bar of chocolate in her fridge and handed it to the small thing.

Six starred at the chocolate as Toriel smiled. "I haven't prepared dinner yet my child but since you are starving please eat this until I can finish Alright?" She says to six with a warm smile. Six smiled and took the food and began to eat it happily. Her hunger curved slightly as she observed the goat lady begin to make a pie. "Now my child do you have a preference? Butterscotch or cinnamon?" She asked the little one as six looked at her with confusion. Toriel soon realized that this little girl didn't seem to have received a bath nor a decent meal in what appeared to be months.

The mother sighed and rubbed the confused child's head and smiled. "Nevermind I will let you try it as I make the pie my child" Toriel says as she went to work on the pie. Six however, just stared at Toriel with curiosity. She wanted to know why the goat woman was so friendly towards her, let alone not try to eat the poor thing. Soon enough she noticed Toriel put the pie into the oven and smile at little six. "While the pie is baking it is time to give you proper bath and clean those clothes if yours..." Toriel states as she starts up the water in the sink to a nice room temperature before helping remove the small child's clothing that was covered in dirt and black tar like substances. Six didn't seem to mind much as the scuffed up child was soon placed in the sink and began to get clean.

Six liked this feeling, the attention, the love, the concern for her well-being. All of this was new to her and it felt good and yet there was a lingering feeling of insecurity following her, as if all of this would just vanish from her. Just like her mother's vanity soon cause her to loose a mother's love. It was unnerving it caused her soul to be filled with Fear......
