Waterfall

(First POV)

Frisk and I are walking through the cavern, after our first full encounter with the warrior I've been a little on edge. My senses are currently on full alert, even more so then usual due to the cut I received from our encounter. I had never gotten fully hurt before which is strange, I mean I have run through glass with bare feet climbed raw fish and touch so many things that were just disgusting to touch. I sometimes wonder how I have never been sick but I can assume it was due to the power within me, the same power I had consumed my original mother for.....

"Six?" I heard Frisk call my name as I looked up at them. They gave me a soft smile, "are you ok?" They asked concerned as I just gave a small smile and a meek nod. It was nice to have someone show concern but my mind was full of questions and memories flashing. I felt strange and I didn't like it, I was afraid, afraid of what was to come just like when I ran through the depths of the maw. I stayed silent as Frisk and I continued out route, soon enough more encounters with Undyne came and my heart pounded harder. Spears shooting up left and right, Frisk and I dodging the best we can. It felt like it was never ending, but no matter we just ran.

That was until we met a dead end and tried to go back but Undyne was there. I gulp as I held on to Frisk tightly, I worried what she do to us. My question was quickly answered as a flash and a sudden rumble occurred as Frisk and I fell backwards into the dark abyss. Darkness, that all there was, I don't know if I was conscious or unconscious but I couldn't move as I saw something coming towards me. It had cracks in its face stares at me with curiosity or malice I couldn't tell by its face. It tried to speak but it came out muffled, I looked confused as it began to sign. "It's time to wake up" it spoke as I gasp and bolt up right.

I was in a golden patch of flowers sitting along side Frisk, I looked up to see that we had fallen quiet a bit. It seems these flowers break someone's fall which is interesting.... I look at Frisk to see them up but looking puzzled. I was about to say something but decided against as I stand up and looked around. It seemed like a dump, I shivered as It reminded me of the maw way to much. I wanted to be far away from here as quickly as possible so I tugged on Frisk. "Common let's get out of here" I say to them as my grip tightens on them. We began to walk out of the dump but a strange dummy like the one from before appeared before our exit. Suddenly we were thrusted into a battle but I didn't want to deal with this so with a glare and a sinister smirk the dummy some how fused?

The creature had now expresses joy which apparently surprised frisk greatly. It was strange but i didn't question it for numerous reasons. We just spared the dummy and walked ahead only to notice Napstablook, I smile a little since its been a while since we had seen the friendly ghost. "Oh wow you came.... uh my house is this way if you want to stop by or not...." he spoke as he floated down a road. I looked at Frisk as they looked back at me, we both silently nodded and followed Napstablook down the road. After a very interesting group hang out was had to leave for the road ahead.

We walked and solved little mushroom puzzles a long the way. We even encountered a small village with strange cat creatures, it was so cute and comforting to be around them that for once I didn't feel fear. But as much as I wanted to stay we had to keep heading down the long road ahead of us. It was calm until more Undyne encounters occurred, it was unpleasant and my fear rose once again each encounter. However, during one encounter monster kid trying desperately for us to be mean to him was starting to walk backwards but fell off the steep bridge ledge. Frisk was paralyzed as Undyne stared us down from the opposite side of the bridge as MK began to slip. I couldn't just wait while he fell so I ran to his aid and tried desperately to help him get up, but try as I might my small frame couldn't lift him him and we both fall into the inky abyss......
