Things Getting heated

(First POV)

I gripped Frisk hand as we re-entered hotland, Frisk had called mom to tell her we were okay as the blistering heat brushed against my exposed skin. Whimpering slightly I look up at Frisk to see them sweating like crazy but seemed alright, I wonder how they could do it with a sweater on, it must be death in that thing. As I though Frisk spoke up, "We should go into the lab...". They said this while trying to stay awake, panicked I quickly helped remove their sweater so they had only their t-shirt on underneath. Frisk still slightly out of it  I had to help partially carry them to the lab so we could get out of the heat if not for a moment.

Dragging them in and the door shutting behind us I noticed how incredibly dark it was in there. Quickly pulling out my lighter I flipped it on and looked around, is this what lab looks like? I ponder as I let frisk cool down while I get up to look around. It was quite a big area but very sparsely decorated, it reminded me of the maw a bit. Shivering I continued walking ahead in the dark before stopping seeing a big TV turn on and revealing me? I quickly look around scared at the thought of someone watching me.

Quickly I ran back to Frisk and shook them awake, I hated this and I wanted to leave as soon as we could. "Frisk wake up!" I shout as they groan and slowly get up. "What happened?" They ask as I try my best to explain calmly, but frisk knew something was up. They looked around the best they could and merely grabbed my hand and began walking forward, I whimpered and struggled a bit not wanting to go forward as I had a bad feeling about this place though I don't know why. Maybe it was because I was so use to the light and this was in total darkness?

Whatever it was it quickly subsided as the lights came on and the yellow dinosaur from before noticed us and began panicking. "O-oh your both here?! I-i didn't expect you two s-so soon!" She stammered as I tilt my head in confusion. She seemed so different then from the genocide route, like she was happy I guess. But no matter she kept going on and on about some killer robot and I jumped when the wall began to shake and crack to our left. Luckily frisk let me go and I hid behind them terrified at the noise. Large and noise reminded me of the denizens of the maw. I whimper as Frisk tried comforting while a large metal thing came flying out of the wall. Peeking from behind frisk it yelled "oh yes".

Blinking in surprise the monster box began a game show? We were the stars, well more like frisk was as I had no clue what any of the words say on the fancy screen displayed before them. I merely watched as Alphys made weird symbols with her clawed hands which I guess helped Frisk. I smiled as the show soon stopped and everything went back to normal. We had beat the robot for now as it said something about meeting again, but I shook that off as Frisk took my hand and was about to leave but alphys stopped us. She then proceeded to take our phone and modify it, she said it was to help for our long journey yet to come.....

Author's note: heya trash people tiz I the random author who has finally updating some books! Shocker I know.... I need to focus more...... anyways I hope you enjoy this tid bit and how in pacing the story. Trying to make it as long and as interesting as I can and if you have any helpful ideas let me now! Bye!
