Goodbye mother

(Third POV)

It's been quite a long time since Frisk and Six stayed in the loving home of Toriel. The warmth of the fire hitting the two as Toriel spoke about snail facts. Six hood was down for once as her blue eyes shined slightly despite being under her bangs, it was as if to conceal her face, Frisk found that odd but didn't want to pry Six for information on why. But the two sat in front of Toriel as she read not noticing the Toriel was starring at the two, they reminded her so much of her Chara and Asriel so much. She never wanted to let them go, but the feeling of dread was still lingering within her. They would want to go sooner or later and it pained her to think that way but it was the bitter truth.

Six soon took notice at the worried goat creature and got up and put her small hands on her lap. "Mom? Are you okay?" The small girl spoke softly causing the goat woman stop her dark thoughts and look at the small girl. Toriel teared up as she hasn't heard those words in such a long time. "Mom?" Frisk added in noe besides Six looking worried, Toriel couldn't help but began to cry softly. The two reminder her so much of the children she had lost, she couldn't bare to lose them. "Please excuse me my children I" Toriel hesitated as she looked into their eyes, they looked so innocent yet pained. She knew what she had to do to keep them safe so she continued to speak "I need to go do something downstairs... please stay and keep warm by the fire...". She gave a weak smile towards them as she got up and quickly made haste to the door to the rest of the underground.

Frisk looked towards Six as the two saw a tearful Toriel leave. They knew what was going to happen, so they grabbed Six hand gently and began to walk towards the stairs. "As much as I want to stay here we can't..... we need to help the monsters be free...." Frisk exclaimed as they kept dragging Six, that was until Six began dragging Frisk instead. Frisk blinked in surprise, they knew Six was strong but even strong enough to be running now and dragging them behind her surprised Frisk. Eventually the two came down to see Toriel creating flames to destroy the door, "No mom! We have to go! We can't stay like this!" Frisk cried out causing Toriel to stop and turn around in surprise.

"C-children..... please go back upstairs....." Toriel pleaded as the two shook their heads no. Visible tears were in everyone's eyes as Toriel clenched her fists. "S-so be it.....then Come children prove to me you're strong enough! Prove to me that He won't be able to take you away!" She cried as a battle began. She stared down the two children tears in her eyes as she saw their souls come out for battle. She saw the soft red Glow of Frisk yet when she saw Six darken soul she grew more worried. This child knew fear and anguish more then any child should. Six noticed Toriel defence went down drastically but now the Fire was more intense as their turns went. It was almost the end as Six hit the mercy button again and again mimicking Frisk. That was when the fighting began to cease as Toriel laughs softly.

"Ha...ha... I can't even protect the children I love so dearly.....how pitful...." She said as she began to sob softly and fall to her knees. Six looked towards Frisk as the woman they called mother sobbed before them. This was all new territory for the both of them but they had to do something, so with one look and a nod the two embarassed the woman before them. Her sobs dying down as she hugged the two close to her body and whimpered ever so slightly. "Please come back safe and....and call me every once in a while so that I know you're alright?" She pleaded to the two children. They pull back and gave a big goofy grin towards her, "we will!" They said in unison causing the goat woman laugh and smile softly at the two and hug them once again. "Goodbye my children.... be safe" She says with their last hug before pulling away and watching them leave the purple colored safe heaven.......
