(Third POV)

It was finally done, running from all the monsters in the maw, hunger satisfied and the disgusting guests destroyed. All that is left was go six to leave the island to come to the mainland. She stood on the island waiting as she heard a boat announce its presence... it would be any moment now that she would use this opportunity to leave this all behind. Her mother's eaten corpse, the poor children who were food to these gluttons, the chefs and that creepy handsy janitor.

Finally it's all done as six watched the grotesque inhuman people come out of the ship. She began to hum her tune as she began to walking to the ship, the grotesque guests eyeing her and trying to snatch her up to scarf her down. Only problem was that six would snap their necks and throw them into the sea before they could even get close to her. She smiled and soon got to the top of the ship where the captain was wide eyed and mortified. He looked normal sized and didn't look grotesque like those guests.

She quickly went to him and tugged his leg as if to tell the man to take her to the mainland. He timidly looked down at her and nodded, obviously he didn't want to upset the supernatural child on his ship. When six felt the ship move away from the miserable place she smiled in pure joy as she quickly and eagerly climbed up things to see outside the window.

The maw was getting farther and farther away, as if a distant memory now. There was now a sense of security forming around six as the ship travled back to the mainland. Six smiled and watched the waves roll by, she wonders if what the lady, her mother said was true about the mainland. Was it really corrupt and holding all those disgusting vile creatures? She had just met her first real human, the captain who was tall and slim. Similar to her father who had hung himself due to guilt. She sighed and closed her eyes and drifted off to much needed rest.

The loud horn of the ship jolted six awake when they arrived to the mainland. Six looked at the man as he opened the door for six. She quickly and eagerly hops off from where she laid and ran out the door happily. She had given the man a kind wave which he returned. She giggles and soon rushed off the boat only to stop and stare at the huge city surrounding her. This isn't at all what her mother had described... There was no decay or overpopulation.... everything seemed peaceful and normal. Everything six knew was wrong........
