"WHY ARE YOU still following me?" I questioned Kile as I turned my head to his direction.

"I don't even know," He simply shrugged. "Can't I just walk you to home? I think that's the least I can do for you."

I scoffed, "What's this? You, being a gentleman?  That's new."

As far as I know, Kile and I don't live in the same neighbourhood. So, there is no absolute reason for me to assume that he's tagging along with me because maybe we live in the same street, nope—not happening.

Kile rolled his eyes, "Fine." He tried to suppress a smile but failed, "I've heard that your sisters are hot."

My mouth gaped wide open. I looked at him with disbelief, "What the hell, Kile?"

"What?" He innocently said, "Can't I just meet at least one of your sisters? The one that's in college?"

I gave him one long look, "She has a boyfriend, Kile." I dryly said.

Kile frowned. "Whatever, I'll still go to your house."

I shook my head in disappointment, he's a total nuthead. How could I forget that?

"Wait a minute," I stared blankly at Kile's direction. "How did you know I have a sister that's in college?" I eyed him suspiciously.

Kile's eyes grew open as he scratched the back of his neck, "Well, that is because.." He awkwardly stated.

"Because?" I pressed.

"Paige!" A familiar voice interrupted. I closed my eyes shut in annoyance. Did he really have to do that?

"Maven," I forced a smile as I greeted him. "What are you doing out here?"

"Obviously waiting for you, duh." Maven, my older brother, deadpanned, "Come on, Margaux's been waiting inside. We just got back from the long drive."

I sighed, "Alright." I glanced at Kile's direction. "You guys wouldn't mind if I'd bring a guest, right?"

Maven just shrugged his shoulders, not sparing Kile a glance, and directly walked towards home.

Unusual of him. Maybe he's tired from the long journey.

"Was that your brother?" Kile asked from the back, trailing behind me like a puppy.

"Sadly, yes." I replied.

Maven Lynn, my brother and the only guy in the house besides from my father. Maven has a fraternal twin—which is my sister, Margaux Lynn. They are both college students that study and work at New York. Usually, if they both have the enough time, they'd come and visit us.

Opening the door of my warm house, I was directly greeted with a tight hug from my sister—Margaux.

"Oh, Paige!" Margaux exclaimed. "You don't know how much I missed you!"
