Kile
"WHY DID YOU give her chocolates?" I directly asked Milo as soon as we arrived his house.
I plopped myself directly to the cushion, feeling at home. I'm no stranger when it comes to Milo's home, I almost stay here every other night, I even got some extra clothes in one of his guest rooms.
Milo Burke lives in a grand mansion, with lots of empty guest rooms to spare for dozens of people. I know the ins and outs of his home, heck, I can even walk inside this very house with my eyes closed because I had memorized each one of them.
From the outside, it looks like it has a very intricate design. Tall windows that were arching at great height, there were grand stairs on both sides of the mansion to lead you to the front door where flaming gold columns stood. It was a grand two-story mansion, that has an indoor swimming pool, a mini movie theater and everything else you would have thought that would be impossible to placed inside a home.
It's not a surprise for me to know that Milo lives in a grand place like this. After all, his family is a descent of royal bloods and monarchs in the United Kingdom—more particularly in his mother's side.
A few amount people only know Milo's real background. Other thinks that he's just another spoiled rich person, like most students of Bennett Private, but he is on a whole other level. He is of royal descent, no one knows that here.
I almost let out a laugh as I thought about Paige. I bet she'll scream her head out when she finds out that Milo is part royalty.
"Is it wrong to give her chocolates?" Milo responded, his eyes narrowing at my face. "Why are you smiling?" He queried.
I quickly drop the smile that was on my face. I didn't even knew that I was smiling.
"Are you thinking about Paige?" He smirked, propping his self down to a cushion right across from mine.
I casually shrugged at his statement. "I wasn't." I lied.
Milo rolled his eyes at me, "Right." He sarcastically commented. "I still don't get it why she can't see that you like her." His electric blue eyes stare directly at my green ones—as if challenging me.
"You and I, both know the reason." I said, staring at him back.
Milo isn't dense, he has known that Paige Lynn has had a crush on him since freshman year. It's been what? Years. For years, Paige has an undying crush for Milo and it just keeps getting worse.
And Milo knows that I have always liked her.
I won't lie, there are times that I would be jealous of my own best friend. The girl, who I liked since we were kids, has her eyes only for my best friend. And that hurts worse than any heartbreak.
For the past years, it almost felt like she doesn't see anyone but Milo. Milo—of course, being the friendly one—would entertain her, he would treat her kindly.
