Paige

I WAS THE type of person who could easily blend in with the crowd.

I honestly don't know where I belong. I'm just neutral. I easily get along with the cool kids and I could also easily get along with the shy types.

Yet, no matter how hard I try to reach Milo's grasp—I just couldn't. He belongs to a way much more higher social clique than any of us. He is, you could say, unreachable. He is massively known around the state, if you hadn't know.

"And then Jarred was like, 'Hey babe can we get back together?' " Kenna, a Black red headed-cheerleader, babbled about her ex-boyfriend.

Currently, I am sitting at the elite's table as what we would like to call.

Yes, as weird as this sounds, I am eating together with these cheerleaders, these jocks and queen bees. This table is always the noisiest amongst all in the cafeteria-which is not quite fitting for my persona.

I was busy picking on my green peas and sighing, I still can't believe what had happened 2 hours ago.

I can't believe that I got switched out with partners. And the fact that the girl's name is Kirsta! It rages me.

I mean, surely Milo wouldn't forget her. After all, she is Kirsta. I can't believe he mistook me for Kirsta earlier!

I officially hate the name Kirsta.

When I jabbed down on my pea, it suddenly flew out from my tray.

"Oh my God! Paige, are you alright?" Kenna gasped loudly when the pea hit her.

Everyone stopped talking and turned their heads toward me. Great. I got everyone's attention already, not that I mind. Note the sarcasm.

I sighed, "I don't know really." I admitted to them.

Jun, who was a football player, rose his brow at me. "Got a problem you wanna share?"

I gulped down. Saying my problem to these people were just not fitting and right. "Sorry, but I think I'll keep it personal for now." I stated.

Kenna shrugged, "I bet it's some boy problems." She said to everyone in the table.

One of the jocks laughed, "Paige babe, you don't need to find other decent guys when you got me over here."

I rolled my eyes at him. "As if I would. Milo is way better than all of you—" my eyes widened as soon as I realized what I said.

I think I screwed myself. I mentally braced myself for the consequences for me and my big mouth.

Rachel, who is another cheerleader, gasped at me. "No way!" She let out a shrilly voice. "Do you like him?"

Everyone on the table was keen on looking at me. A cold sweat almost dripped out of my forehead. They were all suddenly interested about my feelings for Milo.
