"Mr. Washington? Is it okay if (Y/N) stays the night tonight?" Philip asked. His hand tightly held onto mine as he leaned into the room my father was in as well as his mother.
My father thought for a moment before looking over to Eliza, who nodded to him.
"Alright, as long as you kids play nice." My father smiled. I grinned and looked back to Philip, who was also showing off his innocent smile.
I let go of Philip and walked over to my father.
"Thanks Daddy." I hugged his neck as he chuckled.
"I bring some extra clothes for you tomorrow when I pick you up." My father winked.
"And you can borrow one of Angelica's nightgowns for tonight." Eliza added.
Philip and I looked at each other before saying our good nights to our parents and heading upstairs.

"There's no way for you to defeat me, dragon!" Philip yelled, clearly in a better mood then when he told me his news.
I roared and hissed at him, jumping on the bed and flapping my arms, giving the impression that I was flying. Philip had an old wooden stick in his hands as he waved it at me, which was actually a shiny metal sword in our minds' eye.
"Oh yeah? What if I do... this!" I lunged at him, grabbing his shoulders and slamming his head into the pillow behind him. He yelped as he saw me lunge at him, and we both broke into a fit of laughter.

"What if I do... this!" I heard (Y/N) yell. I heard them yelling right after Mr. Washington left and I headed upstairs to quiet them down and send them to sleep.
I creaked the door open and smiled at the scene.
Both of the kids were laughing, Philip on his back on the bed, (Y/N) on his chest and gripping his sides as they laughed. Philip was holding her gently, but almost in an involuntary way as they were both giggling like- well, children.
"Alright kids, you've made enough ruckus tonight. Time to sleep." I giggled. Both kids looked up at me. Philip whined, and (Y/N) tried to as well, but was interrupted by a yawn. Philip looked at her as if she blew their cover, but yawned as well.
I guess yawns are contagious.
"Can (Y/N) sleep in here?" Philip asked. (Y/N) nodded and turned to me. I thought for a moment.
They're 8 and 9, they're not going to do anything.
"Okay, but straight to bed." They both cheered before snuggling into the covers.
I walked over to next to the bed. Leaning over, I pecked Philip on the forehead, then (Y/N) as well.
"Goodnight you two." I said.
"Goodni-"
"Hold up! What about goodnight for me?" Alexander burst into the room, slightly startling me.
"Papa!" Philip sat up quickly, the previous exhaustion evaporating for perhaps a second. His father always had that affect on him.
"Goodnight," he kissed Philip's head, "and, goodnight." He finished, also kissing (Y/N)'a head.
"Um, Mr. Hamilton? I was wondering, why do kiss me goodnight too? I'm not part of your family." (Y/N) asked. I glanced at Alexander and saw him smile.
