Chapter 6: Heartbreak

Concon's POV

We met Anne in the Ice cream Shop we used to hang out before.

And when I saw her, it was like I fell in love with her all over again.

My heart kept on pounding on my chest like I just ran a whole field.

I felt nervous. I don't know why.

But as we get closer, my heart aches from the longing and I realized how much I've missed her.

When she saw as, a smile spread on her face. Her eyes sparkling.

She walked towards me and hugged me.

"You've grown!" she said chuckling.

A laugh escaped my lips. "Of course I had."

She laughed and hugged me tighter. "I miss you." she sighed.

"Me too." I said as I hugged her closer.

"Ehem." someone said that made us break away.

She pouted and I smiled. Putting my arm on her waist.

She faced them and greeted them "Hey girls. Long time no see."

They beamed at her. "Yup, it's been so long." Georgina said.

"Yeah. I know." Anne said a little sad. "Being a college student is too busy."

The girl's nodded. "Come on, let's get inside." Anne said turning around and walking towards the shop.

We just hang out, the usual.

The girls kept on asking her about how she's been. How's college. And even asked her if she met anyone HOT.

'Seriously GIRLS? Uh. GIRLFRIEND right here you know?'

I just listened to them chat and laugh and joke around. I was enjoying even if  I only watching them.

I watched HER. When she talks. When she laughs. When she looks at me and hold my hands. Everything makes me fall in love again.

It was early evening when the girls decided to go home. Well, we do have class tomorrow.

Anne and I decided to just take a stroll in the park. We sat in a bench where there's not much people around.

We sat there and she just played with my hand. Tracing circles. Lifting it up and looking at it.

I just watch her doing that. I smiled everytime she look at me and I see the way her eyes gleam by seeing me.

"Do you... want to go to my house?" she asked.

"Uh. Sure." I said.

She led me through out on the village and we arrived at her house.

"Come in.. No one's home." she said.

I gulped. "Oh."

She took my hand and led me to the living room.

"Want anything to drink?" she asked as she made her way through the kitchen.

"Just water." I shouted so she could hear.

I sat awkwardly in the couch as I waited for her.

"Here." she said as she gave me the glass of water.

"Thanks." I smiled.

She sat next to me and I felt her arms wrap around my waist. "I missed you so bad." I sighed. "I missed you too."

She brought her lips to mine and I felt tingles as we kissed. (It's not the first time we kissed.)

I broke away immediately when I realized I'm still holding the glass of water. She pouted when I broke off.

I laughed and lifted the glass for her to see. She laughed too. "Drink up."

I gulped in the water feeling refreshed. When I sat down the glass, I immediately crushing my lips to hers.

I felt her hands work their way up to my shoulders as she pushed me down and she laid on top of me.

We kissed for so long until she let me catch my breath as she started to kiss my jaw to my neck. I was gasping. She pulled away a little and looked me in the eyes.

She smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too." I said as I brought her down to me and kiss her.

We ended up making out for minutes until we were interrupted by the buzzing of her phone in her pocket.

At first, she ignored it. Groaning when she first felt the buzz.

I smiled in the kiss. "You shou--" I tried to say but she cut me off and kissed me deeper. I smiled wider. "Don't mind." she said.

I tried to suppress my laughter but I couldn't.

I reached to her front pocket and took the phone out and answered it.

"Hey babe!" a deep voice said from the other line.

My eyes shot open and I stiffened.

"Wh-who is this?" I asked.

"It's me babe, Erwan." the man said.

I looked at Anne questionably. "Here." I said as I sat up and gave her phone.

She looked at me and cautiously took the phone and answered it. I sat there fist balled and eyes full of anger.

"Hello?" she whispered.

The other line replied and I saw her eyes widen in shock.

"Shit." she said and looked at me.

I stood up and made my way through the front door but she caught my arm.

"Con, let me explain." she said.

"Explain what?! That you have a fucking relationship with someone else?!" I shouted.

She flinched at me. She never saw me mad before.

"Please. Just le--"

"Shut up! Do-don't you even try." I said as I turned to my heels to the door.

"Concon please!" she pleaded.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I shouted back as I slammed the door at her face.

I couldn't stop the tears from falling. My head's throbbing and I can't think and feel right. I did not even realize that she was there. Standing right in front of me.
