"I-I'm sorry,"a petite girl with pink shoulder length hair shivered in front of a small round man wearing a suit and tie, his blonde hair combed as his French mustache flared as his nostril grew big with anger.
"Just make sure she looks presentable!"he demanded,"I expect to have her looking so fine I will get much praise."
"O-Of course Mister Everlue," she bowed her head, she wore a white knitted dress down to her thighs and knitted detached sleeves that went up the arm. Her thigh-high socks were a light yellow, and her shoes were knee-high white boots.
She took slow steps to other side of the room where a woman sat with a blank look. Her long blonde hair was being brought up into a bunch by a man with leather pants and striped blue dress shirt, his eyes hidden by glasses and his hair was slicked back by cornrows.
"Mister Everlue is becoming impatient,"the petite girl bowed her head.
"I still wonder why we still work for him," the man spoke harshly, smoothing down the blondie's bangs that he kept out of the bun.
"I'm sorry,"she apologized yet again, shivering still,"I will put away the jewelry box,"she shut a small white box then turned back, walking out.
"You look very nice, ebi," he complimented, putting his hands on the blonde's shoulders. Her brown eyes continued to look to nowhere. Her ivory skin glistened and smelt of sweet aromas. She wore a long elegant, Victorian styled gown. The part looked like a white button up blouse, the high collar folded down and the sleeves down her arms, the cuffs buttoned and the skirt was a dark blue, dividing the two was an outer black corset. Her long neck was decorated by a rose cameo, Victorian choker. The rose was black on the center piece purple oval, the frame of the oval was elegant, black Crystal beads hang between her collar bones by the frame by a silver chain, as black lace wrapped around her ivory neck. Her bun was elegant and braided, a black lace head band was to finish her elaborate hairstyle. Her ears were casually adorned by small silver hoops. To finish her jewelry collection was a silver band upon her right ring finger.
"It should be time to go, I'm sure the carriage is ready to take you now, ebi,"the man took his hands off her shoulders. She nodded, her first voluntary movement as she stood up and began walking without a word, her black, Victorian laced up heels tapped upon the sparkling clean dark wood floor as they were just halfly shown bellow the blue skirt that stopped half way down her shins.
She continued to walk to the front entrance of what seemed to be a mansion of a wealthy man of business and not a noble or royal. It was obvious since of the statues and gold of the small round man, 'Mister Everlue' were almost everywhere. Nobles and Royals had no such thing upon their land, only statues of history instead of themselves. Though Novels were known to put up a statue of one after their passing.
She stopped at the entrance, head hanging as the rolly-polly man walked down the grand steps,"Do not stand their! Get inside the carriage set! I will not ride with someone as hideous as you!"
She nodded yet again, the door opened by another pink haired girl in a maid unirom,"Princess,"she bowed as she held the door open for her leave.
She walked out of the Golden, overly decor edge, mansion of what others would call hideous maids, and entered the carriage.
