Chapter 19: Officially Together

~Acacia's POV~

"But that doesn't count she fell when he twirled her. They deserved to loose points." I told Hayes.

"But she got up like nothing happened. And pulled the moves off."

"They deserved their score."

"Fine keep your opinion and I'll keep mine." Hayes said.

"I will."

I turned to look at Nash. He was staring out the window like he was thinking about something. Or something was bothering him. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it a bit. He turned to me.

"You okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine. Just admiring the job Mother Nature has left us." Nash said while smiling.

I held his hand close to me. Not letting go for a moment. I felt Nash scoot closer to me and I rested my head on his shoulder. I just wanted to be his. Only his. When I'm with Nash it seems like all my problems seem to fade. Like its only us two.

We finally arrived at Olive Garden. Nash getting out first and helping me out of the car like a gentleman. But he didn't start walking when everyone else did.

"I'll be right there!" he yelled to his mom. "Wait."

I stopped in my tracks and faced him. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes.

"Acacia. We've been friends for quiet a while. And we've gotten really close and during that time my feelings for you have been going off the walls of my heart. When I found out you were dating Cameron I felt like I was shot. Seriously I had a heart break. But when you called my the other day to pick you up its like you knew how to mend my broken heart. That night was the best night of my life. But I hope it becomes my second because my feeling for you are coming back. They haven't and nor will they ever go away. What I'm trying to say is. Acacia will you be my girlfriend?"

I looked at Nash. I was shocked. Too shocked to even say yes or no. I wrapped my arms around him and whispered yes into his ear. I wanted to cry. I did shed a tear or two. I looked him in the eyes and kissed him. He then grabbed my hand and we walked into the restaurant. Finding his parents and sitting next to him.

"We're official!" He said so proudly.

"I'm happy for the two of you. This day was bound to happen sooner or later." Nash's mom said.

"We celebrate then!" his dad said.

We had the best day ever! First off Nash asked me out, then had an amazing dinner, and just laughed the night away.

~Nash's POV~

So many thoughts were going through my mind. I was so glad that Acacia and I were finally dating. My heart stopped when she whispered 'yes' in my ear. My mom took a few pictures of us. When we got home Acacia didn't want to leave. So my mom said it was fine for her to stay the night. But the door was to stay open.

We walked over to her house and grabbed a few things. I sat on her bed as she grabbed what she needed.

"Hey Nash?"

"Yeah babe?" I asked.

"Let's take a selfie."

"Okay." I said.

We stood in front of her full length mirror. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my head on her shoulder. She grabbed her phone and we smiled. We took quite a few. I didn't really care. As long as I was with her. Our last picture was of us kissing. Which was my favorite. She slipped her phone in her pocket and turned. Our bodies intertwined. Lips slightly touching.

We walked back to my house hand in hand. We changed and got comfortable. I watched as she put her hair up in a messy bun, Acacia then laid in my bed. I wrapped one arm around her shoulder and she hugged me. We laid there watching 21 jump street. I kissed her lips softly before I drifted to sleep. My girlfriend. My girlfriend was lying next to me. Protected by me. Just calling her my girlfriend makes me smile.

#NacaciaForever!!! Sooo... was it worth the wait?? This is by far my favorite chapter. Nacacia is together at last! I thought we could have a drama free, sweet, get the feels going type of chapter. But there will defiantly be drama in the next chapter. But hope you guys like this.
