Chapter 7: Say Cheese! :D

~Hayes' POV~

I took Skylynn's hand and took her to the creepy bathroom around the side of the school. I waited while Sky finished. When I heard the toilet flush I opened the door. We started walking back before I stopped in my tracks.

NASH WAS KISSING ACACIA!!!!!

I knew Acacia had a boyfriend and it was Nash's best friend Cameron. She told me a few days ago. I asked Cameron and he told me they were dating. I promised him if anything other than talking happened I would tell him. I quickly grabbed my phone a took a picture. Shoving it back in before they looked up. Just in time. Nash looked at me and I played it off as if we just walked up.

I made my way to them. Acacia avoiding eye contact with me. She must feel guilty about what she just did. I would. It was an awkward silence before Sky broke it.

"Nash. I'm hungry! Can we go home and eat?"

"Um. Yeah. Acacia do you want to come over?"

She looked at me and nodded no. Her face was bright red. Nash looked disappointed. We started walking home. In complete silence. When we got to our house Acacia left right away.

"Nash I'll be back in a second." I told him running up to Acacia.

I caught up to her in time before she walked into her house.

"Acacia!" I yelled.

"Yes Hayes?"

"Why didn't you pull away? You have a boyfriend!"

"I-I-I don't know. It just felt so right. I think he was going to kiss me. I really didn't Hayes. I swear."

"You could have stopped him."

"What if I didn't want too. What if its what I wanted. Maybe its not just him that's getting the same feelings that I'm having." She told me while looking me in the eyes.

"I didn't see it that way. But Acacia we've been talking everyday since you started coming around again why didn't you tell me that you like Nash?"

"Hayes, I consider you a best friend. But its weird if I tell the brother of the guy I like that I like his sibling."

"I tell you everything. Why can't you do the same too me?"

"I do. This was the only thing I was holding back from you. I promise. It won't happen again."

"I know its not." I told her while walking away.

I got out my phone and forwarded the picture to Cameron. Within a second he replied. Looks like Acacia and Nash aren't the only ones that can play this game. I was the new spy for Cameron.

~Acacia's POV~

'What does that mean?' I thought about what Hayes said before he walked away from me. I walked in my house and went straight to my room. A tear fell from my eye. If Cameron ever found out I would die. He would break up with me and never talk to me again. Before I knew it more and more tears came down. There was a slight knock on my bedroom door. I wiped my tears away and turned the door knob. Nash was standing in front of me.

"Can we talk?" He asked.

"Yeah."

We walked over to my bed and sat down.

"I didn't mean to kiss you. It kind of happened but when our lips touched it felt so right."

"Your not the only one. It felt like no one else was around us. But we can't let this go any farther. I have a boyfriend Nash."

Nash started laughing for no reason. "Boyfriend. I'm sure you don't have a boyfriend." He told me before getting up. "I'll see you tomorrow at school."

After that he walked away. I laid on my bed. Putting my finger up to my mouth and slowly sliding it across. The moment replayed in my mind while I smiled to myself. What if Nash is what I want?
