Chapter 15: Caught Red Handed

~Acacia's POV~

∞Few days later∞

I got a call from Cameron. We were going to go to the movies. I loved all movies as long as they're good. So we were going to go watch 'The Wizard of Oz'. The movies were playing old movies. It was my favorite. Judy Garland was my favorite actress. I slipped on a pair of jeans. A Navy blue shirt and Navy blue converse. I braided my hair the night before and took it down. My hair full of curls. I put some mascara on and lip gloss.

I waited for awhile. Playing with my baby brother to pass time. I was finally un-grounded and this was a great way to spend my first night free. Ever since I left the Grier's house I haven't talked to any of them. Besides Mrs. Grier who still asked me to babysit Skylynn but at my house. I heard a honk from outside. Cameron.

I ran out to his car. Hopping in and kissing his plump pink lips. I put my seat belt on and got comfortable. Cameron grabbed my hand and held it while driving with the other. We pulled up into the movies parking lot.

"We still have half an hour to kill. Wanna make out?"

"Okay." I said pulling his head towards mine.

When we stopped we walked to the correct theater and got seats in the back row. Half way into the movie Cameron left to use the bathroom. He left his phone on his seat. It started vibrating so I picked it up. A text. The name was: Kayla♥:-*. I was never the girl to go through a guys phone but seeing her name I decided to. The text read;

Hey Babe. So are we still on for tonight? I hope so because I can't bare being away from you! ;)

I locked his phone and threw it back into his cup holder. He was cheating again! I got teary eyed. But I didn't want to start crying. Cameron came back and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I threw it off me.

"What's wrong?" Cameron asked.

I ignored him and stared straight at the screen. Dorthy was at the point of almost killing the witch.

"Acacia? Talk to me. What the hell is wrong?" He kept saying in my ear.

I couldn't handle it anymore. I got up out of my seat and ran down the stairs. That's when it truly hit me. I ran to the bathroom crying. I took my phone out. I wanted to call someone. But who? Then Nash popped in my head. I dialed his number. Ring after ring he finally answered.

"Hello?" he said in a raspy voice.

"Nash."

"Acacia is that you?"

"Mhm." I whispered into the phone trying to hide my cries.

"What's wrong?" Nash asked.

"He's cheating on my Nash. I caught him! I just need someone to come pick me up. Can you?"

"Sure. No ones home besides me and Skylynn. Just let me get her ready and we'll be on our way. Wait where are you?"

"Meadow wood movies."

"Okay don't move. We're on our way."

"Okay." I managed to say through my sobs. I couldn't believe Cameron would do that to me… again. And to think he was the one that wouldn't change.

∞15 minutes later∞

Nash called me to tell me he was outside. I fixed myself up and started walking out. Cameron was waiting for me. He saw me and started to follow me. He swiftly grabbed my arm when we were outside. I jerked my arm away as hard as I could.

"Acacia! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING?!"

I looked him dead in the eyes.

"None of your fucking business. We're done!" I yelled while flipping him off.

"You can't break up with me!"

"I just did." I said hopping into Nash's mom's car.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Not here." I told Nash.

"Okay. Um you hungry?"

"A little."

We drove to McDonald's. It had a play area where Sky could go do what she wanted to do. We ordered and sat down. I told Nash about what I found and apologized to him from earlier in the week. We sat there talking to each other.

"Want me to drop you off at your house?"

"My parents aren't expecting me home. They think I'm staying the night at Cameron's."

"Oh. You can stay at my house… if you want too." Nash said.

"Aren't your parents home?"

"No. They're out of state. Hayes is at his friends. It would be cool. It could be like old times. We could just hang out and talk all night. I don't mind having you there." He said blushing.

"Okay. Of you don't mind."

We went back to Nash's house. It was about 8 o'clock and it was almost time for Skylynn to go to sleep. So we sat there and watched an episode of Spongebob.

"Want something to change into?"

"Sure. Anything will do."

"Okay. Come on."

We walked up stairs and Nash handed me some sweats and a tank top of his. While he put Skylynn down for bed I changed. I put my hair up in a messy bun. I had my glasses in my hand bag. I pulled them out and took my contacts out.

"I like you like this." Nash said from behind me.

"Eww. I look like crap."

"No. I actually like the way you look right now. I'm not joking around."

"Well then thanks Nashty."

"You haven't called me that in years."

"I know." I said while sitting on his bed.

Nash sitting next to me. We talked some more and then we watched some movies. We got comfortable.

"You can sleep in here. I can sleep in Hayes' room." He said getting up.

I pulled his arm.

"No. I want you to sleep in here with me."

"Okay." Nash said getting back in his bed.

We got covered up and laid there. I rested my head on his shoulder. He turned the movie off and just laid there. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes. His looking back at me. Before we knew it he kissed me. Not resisting the kiss I kissed back… but harder.
