Writer's POV.
The image flashes of a tall 30 storied building. Where in a meeting room was a girl talking very confidently about her strategies and how that would benefit their company.
"The presentation is amazing Nandini. We would love to fix this deal with you, but we need to let you know some things."
"Yeah sure you may go ahead."
"As a part of the project you will have to travel to different places to make alliances and deals with other businesses men and I hope you're fine with that." One of the officials explained.
"Of course, I'll travel to those places." Nandini said with a smile. While the other officials spoke to each other a little and Manik kept glaring at Alex, who was talking with the officials.
"Ok Nandini and Manik it's a deal." Alex said and Nandini smiled to her brightest.
After the meeting everyone got outside the meeting room that was when Alex called Nandini and Manik.
"So, Nandini you know that I was going to propose.."
"Propose who?" Manik asked right at the queue.
"My girlfriend." Alex stated as a matter of fact while Nandini chuckled.
"So, I proposed her last night and she said yes, so we're throwing a party tonight and you both have to come." Alex said and Nandini smiled while Manik had his happiness to another level.
"You guys are going to be so happy." Nandini said and hugged him while Manik frowned.
"So done? You're coming tonight?"
"Of course we will." Manik said with a smile.
"I'll send the car for both of you. Nandini Dana wants to meet you for lunch do you think you can make it?"
"Sure, where are we meeting?" Nandini asked.
"Let me just call Dana and ask." Alex said and excused himself. While Nandini called her Dad.
"Appa, the deal is fixed... Thank you Appa.. I love you too." Nandini said and hung up the call.
"Nandini.." Manik called her.
"Ha.."
"I need to talk to you about something.. Can we?"
"Sure we can Manik."
"Not here, may be at the hotel room." Manik said.
"OK." Nandini said.
"OK Nandini I'll pick you up from the hotel and drop you at the restaurant to have lunch with Dana she'll take you shopping and show you around. Is that cool?" Alex asked.
