Matrimonial Love Story.

Part 6.

*************
The love they shared was strong enough to fight all the barriers that tried to tear them apart.

-Ashwathy Nair.

*************

Manik.

Compromise? Yes it was the option I chose to save our marriage, actually it was more of a realization that I can't live without her, that I have fallen for her so bad that there's no way that I can live alone.

I was getting ready that evening to go to her place and talk everything out, sort out all our differences and bring her back to our home. I was happy, I had thought of everything I would say so that she would understand and give in too.

On my way I felt someone was following me and my actions I turned my car around into an isolated path and found a bike following me, I kept driving aimlessly and the bike kept following me. It continued for about 15 minutes and I knew there's something fishy, I gave up the idea of going to Nandini's place as I knew something bad is coming up and I didn't wanted her to be a part of it. I drove back to home and the bike was long gone.

*************

The next day was 'the day.' I decided not to go, yes I decided not to go. So that the date will be delayed and I'll be able to talk to Nandini and bring her back.

I woke up around 10am. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the kitchen, my phone had 10 missed calls all of them were from my lawyer. Just then my phone rang again it was Cabir.

"Yes Cabir."

"What?" I was so shocked that the phone dropped off from my hand. I couldn't think what to do. I soon rushed to the bedroom wore a Tshirt and after picking up my phone and car keys I left outside.

******************

Nandini.

My eyes were blind folded, all I could do was scream the hand covering my mouth was soft and the voice which asked me to shut up was of a woman.

It was some familiar voice. The voice I had heard once, but couldn't recall.

The car stopped and I was taken out of the car, they kept pulling me and I kept walking, I had no clue about where were they taking me to. I was then pushed to a corner and I landed over the floor my elbow crashed over the floor so did the right side of my body, I could sense blood coming out of places. I heard closing of the door, and I opened my blind fold. The place was completely dark, I couldn't see anything, I didn't have my phone to call anyone. I noticed my elbow, blood was oozing out of it. Why Me? What have I done to deserve this?

The only things that were running through my mind. Just the a light popped on right above my head causing my eyes to flicker.

"Nandini.. Nandini Manik Malhotra.." A voice merged from the dark I couldn't see the face I could only see the figure.

"What did you think, I'm done with you? I'm done with Manik? No sweet heart not so soon." My guess was correct it was her. Soha.
