i woke up to the loud ring of my alarm.
i checked the time 6:35. i decided that i wasn't going to get out of my
bed just yet. my eyes were burning. i guess that's what I get; since I went to sleep at 1:00 in the mourning.
the sun pecked my face, trying to get me to wake. birds were chirping and everything just seemed to right. everything seemed so happy.
i climbed out of my bed and walked over to my closet. i didn't have to take hours deciding what to wear because my school required uniform.
i slipped on my skirt and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
after i had done everything i needed to do, i walked quietly downstairs.
"lisa, you're awake?" a voice said.
it was my aunt.
"yeah." i answered, but then added "is he here?" my aunt sighed, "no 'he' isn't here" after she said that i immediately sat down.
"are you hungry?" she asked.
"Yeah" I replied.
"Okay. I'll make some oatmeal" she said.
i nodded and plugged in some headphone. i closed my eyes as i let the music create my thoughts.
