Eva glanced down at the book on her lap. It was ancient, leather bound and well used.
The train carriage rattled all around her and she wondered, if she hadn't run away, what she would be doing now.
But this had to be done, a grimm was in danger, and they probably didn't even know it. She tried to remove the images of the stories her mother had told her about them, monstrous, violent psychopaths who slaughtered all wessen alike, innocent and guilty.A couple of other passengers were giving her strange looks, so she pulled the hood of her coat lower over her eyes and the train rattled onwards.
"Next stop Brooklyn."
