Tommy's POV
Oh my god! Adam and me nearly kissed! Does he know I'm gay? What if his mum saw us? What would they think? What would happen to us? So many questions were running through my head as me and Adam headed upstairs. We were chatting and laughing happily until out of nowhere Neil came running downstairs, crashing into me with a great force. I stumbled and Adam tried to grab me, unfortunately too late. "TOMMY!" He screamed. I fell backwards all the way to the bottom of the stairs. Then everything went black.
Adam's POV
It all happened in slow motion. Tommy fell backwards and I missed him. This couldn't be happening. After he fell I rushed down to him and picked him up in my arms. "NEIL WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM?!" He glared at me and folded his arms. "Whatever, you're overreacting it was just a little fall". I couldn't contain my anger anymore. "NEIL HE FELL DOWN ABOUT TWENTY FUCKING STAIRS AND YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT IT'S JUST A LITTLE FALL?! I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT YOU RIGHT NOW YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!" I stood up with Tommy limp in my arms. "MOM! COME QUICK!" My mom rushed into the hall to see what all the noise was about. "Oh my god Adam, we need to get him to a hospital quick!" She gasped and grabbed her car keys. We ran outside and jumped in the car, my mom driving and me in the back holding Tommy in my arms.
We finally arrived at the hospital. We rushed to the front desk and the lady came up to us. "Hello, name of patient please?"
"Tommy Joe Ratliff".
"And is it an emergency?"
"Yes!" She nodded. "Follow me please". I rushed behind the nurse with Tommy whilst my mom waited in the waiting room. When we got into the room I gently put Tommy onto the bed and stood beside him, holding his hand tightly. I brought it up to my lips to kiss and muttered to him, "don't worry Pretty Kitty it's gonna be ok". The nurse came back into the room with another one and a doctor. "Sir what's your relationship with Tommy?" Thank god I would be allowed in the room. "Brother". He nodded and gestured for me to move out of the way. They crowded around him and started examining him. "What happened to him?"
"He fell down roughly 20 stairs and won't wake up. He was ran into by our other brother with some force." The doctor nodded and turned back to face the nurses and Tommy. He put his hand on Tommy's neck, "he's not breathing we need to perform CPR." I gulped as the doctor started CPR on him. The nurses checked the heart rate monitor and thankfully he started breathing again. Without any warning, Tommy sat bolt upright and shouted, "ADAM!" I rushed to him and gave him a hug. "Shhhh it's ok Glitterbaby I've got you it's ok". The doctor and nurses left the room to speak to my mum whilst I stayed with Tommy. He relaxed a bit and lay back down, groaning. "My head hurts so much, as does my body! I feel hungover but worse!" I stroked his head, "want me to ask the doctor if you can have any medication?" He gave me a weak smile and nodded. "Yes please Babyboy". I kissed him forehead and walked to the door, "I'll be right back".
Tommy's POV
After Adam left the room, I sighed and stared up at the ceiling. I felt so groggy and weak, I could feel an lump forming on the back of my head. I was so weak. If this happened to Adam, he would barely move. Whereas I was a weak little shit who cried over everything. Man I couldn't wait home to cut again.
A few minutes later, Adam returned with an aspirin and handed it to me with a glass of water. I gulped it down and sighed. "Can we go home yet?" I whimpered. Adam sighed and walked over to me, his eyes filled with sadness. "Yes Glitterbaby, want me to carry you?" I nodded and he picked me up in his arms. We walked outside the hospital and drove home again. Leila yelled and Neil while Adam took me upstairs to bed. I was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as Adam laid me down in his bed. He locked the door and got into bed beside me. I turned around and snuggled into his chest. "Goodnight Pretty Kitty" he stroked my hair and kissed me forehead before falling asleep himself.
