A few months later

Tommy's POV

Sauli and I had been dating for a few months now. I hadn't heard from Adam and his family since the day I left. Sauli kept his word and always treated me right.

I thought everything was perfect.

Until one day...

"Hey TJ, I'm just gonna go somewhere quick ok?" Sauli came downstairs where I was sitting in the couch. "Ok." I looked up at him.

"I'll be back soon, love you." Sauli gave me a quick kiss before walking out the door. "Love you too..." I mumbled after him.

Sauli's POV

Magical time skip!

It was Valentine's Day, I bought some stuff for Tommy but couldn't let him know...not yet, anyways.

As I was driving back from the store, I smiled to myself. Tommy really was the one and I loved him so much...

How dare Adam treat him like that!

Tommy was fragile and needed a lot of love and car, I was willing to be the person who gave him it all.

A car suddenly came out of nowhere. I tried to swerve out the way but headed for a tree instead. My car smashed into the tree which was the last thing I remembered.

Tommy...

Tommy's POV

I got bored waiting for Sauli so I turned on the TV to keep myself entertained. The news came on, showing a really bad car crash nearby.

"The driver in one of the cars survived but the other was unfortunately killed." The news lady said.

The camera zoomed in on the car that smashed into a tree. My heart stopped.

No...

That was the exact same car as Sauli's...

I looked at the number plate. It was Sauli's car...

I ran out the house, tears streaming down my face. Please let Sauli be alive...please let this all be a bad dream...

Out of breath from sprinting, I eventually got to the scene of the accident. I ran past all the paramedics and police, who tried to stop me, and pulled Sauli's body out of the car.

"No no no, come on baby wake up for me...come on you're ok!" I held his limp body close to my chest and rubbed the blood off his face.

"Please don't do this to me..." the tears started falling faster down my cheeks.

Sauli lay limply in my arms, my tears landing on his cheeks. "Sauli..." I leaned in and gently kissed his lips.

"I love you...I'll never stop loving you, even though you're gone..."

The paramedics came and took Sauli away from me, covering his body with a blanket. I got up again, covered in blood, and ran back to Sauli's house.

I slammed the door behind me and ran upstairs. I burst into our room and buried my face in Sauli's pillow.

He was gone...

Now I had no one...

Adam's POV

My life had been awful since Tommy left. My parents were worried at first, until I told them that he was staying with a friend from school for a while.

I woke up, showered, got dressed and went downstairs, the usual. I flopped on the couch and turned on the TV.

The news came on, not much...just a car crash again.

Suddenly the camera focused on someone running to the car that was smashed into a tree. They pulled a body out and hugged it tightly.

That blonde fringe stood out to me.

It was Tommy.

My eyes went wide when I realised, the person he was hugging...

It was Sauli.

I got up and grabbed my car keys. I darted out the house and got in my car, frantically starting the engine and backing out of the driveway.

Tommy lost the person he loved, he was bound to do something stupid...and I wasn't going to let him.

I finally arrived at Sauli's house and quickly got out the car.

"Tommy?" I went inside.

No answer. I started looking around for him. "It's me, Adam!" Still nothing. I sighed, realising he wasn't downstairs, so headed upstairs.

"Tommy?"

I heard quiet sobs coming from a room. "Tommy..." I whispered as I hesitantly opened the door.

Tommy was curled up on the bed and hugging a pillow tightly, sobbing his heart out. "It's Adam..." I went into the room, quietly shutting the door behind me.

He didn't reply, just kept crying instead.

"Oh Tommy..." I went over to the bed and sat on the edge beside Tommy, pulling him close.

He tried to wriggle away at first, but soon buried into me and sobbed more. "H-he's g-gone!"

"Shh...I'm here..." I cooed and ran a hand through Tommy's hair. "It's gonna be ok...I'm here..."

Tommy eventually cried himself to sleep. I pulled back the duvet and gently tucked him into bed, making sure he was on Sauli's side. I then quietly lay down beside him, keeping a fair distance.

Despite this, Tommy unconsciously snuggled into me. He was gripping Sauli's pillow tightly and whimpering in his sleep.

He was broken...literally broken...
