Chapter 2: The News

A/N- sorry if the last chapter was quite short, I was writing it at midnight so I'm tired AF 😂😴 thanks LexiTheGlambert for giving me ideas for the first chapter and getting rid of my writers block. You should definitely check out her stories they're amazing!

Adam's POV

A few hours before adopting Tommy

I thundered into the house, slamming the door in Neil's face. "Hey! Adam!" I rolled my eyes and threw my keys on the unit. "Well that's what you get for being a little bit-"
"Adam Mitchel Lambert watch your language!" My mom came through from the kitchen looking quite cross with me. "I'm going to my room" I muttered before stomping upstairs. "Come back down after you've freshened up, we have something to tell you and Neil". I rolled my eyes again "fine". When I got to my bedroom, I threw my bag on the floor and flopped onto my bed. I wonder what my parents have to tell me and Neil? I sighed. Oh well, only one way to find out. I grabbed a clean black shirt, leather jacket and black leather pants out of my wardrobe. After that I headed into my bathroom and took a long shower.

When I got downstairs, I saw my parents and Neil sitting in the living room waiting for me to come down. "Finally! Took you long enough!" I gave Neil a look. "Oh shut up"
"Boys! Please stop arguing for once! Adam please sit down so me and your father can tell you and your brother the news". I rolled my eyes and sat as far away from Neil as I could. He glared at me before looking at my mom. "Ok so, me and your father have been thinking about this for a long time..." My dad leaned forwards and placed his hands on top of mine and Neil's. "We are getting a bit fed up with you and Neil's arguing so we think that this will be best for both of you." I rolled my eyes and took my hand away from his. "Just spit it out already!" I folded my arms. My mom took a deep breath and looked at both of us before saying, "we're going to adopt another brother!" Neil squealed excitedly and ran up to hug them. I just sat there and stared at them, shocked. No way was I expecting this! "So, how old is he gonna be?" My dad grinned and looked at me. "Well we were thinking that it would be good if he were around Adam's age".
"When are we picking him up?"
"Today!" I could feel the anger bubbling inside of me. I couldn't hold it in any longer. "WHAT THE FUCK?! I ALREADY HAVE ONE BASTARD OF A BROTHER, AND NOW YOU'RE EXPECTING ME JUST TO WANT ANOTHER ONE?!" I erupted. Neil shot me a deadly glare, as did my parents. "ADAM MITCHEL LAMBERT GET IN THE CAR NOW AND HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE TOLD YOU TO WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!" My dad was furious with me. I growled and stomped off into the car. They're such idiots! How can they just expect me to want another brother?! I sighed angrily and put my earphones in. I'm the boss of the house, I won't let this stupid kid steal my place. I'll show him who's boss...

We finally arrived at the orphanage. "We're here!" Neil yelled excitedly. I groaned and slammed the car door shut. We were greeted outside by a middle aged woman. "Ah hello, you're here to adopt young Thomas aren't you?" My mom nodded her head and smiled warmly. "Yes, we are!"
"I'll be right back, let me just go get him". I sighed and went on my phone. After about 5 minutes, she returned with the most gorgeous boy that I had ever seen in my life. His long fluffy blonde fringe covered half of his face. He had beautiful chocolate brown eyes that looked good enough to eat. He was wearing a black Metallica shirt and jeans with a leather jacket on top. He also had black rocker boots and eyeliner on. His shirt hung quite loosely on his small frail body. He looked so scared, fragile and innocent. He caught my gaze for a few seconds and looked a bit less scared. I shook my head and looked at the ground. I can't think that...I'm supposed to hate him. But how can you hate someone as beautiful as him? I don't even know if he's gay or not! But I can't love my own brother like that, can I?
