Chapter 6: Confrontation

The next day
Tommy's POV

My eyes slowly flickered open to reveal a sleeping Adam. I managed to stifle a laugh. His sleeping face was so funny and cute! I stretched, taking care not to wake Adam. I slipped through his arms and got out of bed. God I feel so awful after last night, at least the aspirin helped. I yawned and went through to the bathroom, not bothering to lock the door behind me. I picked the blade out of the bar of soap that I hid it in. I felt a bit better after what happened with Adam but I still needed to get rid of more pain. I took a deep breath and slowly pressed the sharp blade against my arm, watching the blood ooze out. I sighed and put the blade down, sat in the toilet and rested my head in my hands. Suddenly, the door swung open and a shocked early morning Adam appeared in the doorway. "T...Tommy!" He ran over to me and grabbed my arm, I winced as he touched it. Adam looked around the room before grabbing a red towel and wrapping it around my arm. "I've been meaning to talk to you about this, cmon lets go get some plasters" he said, concerned. I traipsed after him, hanging my head in shame. I didn't want anyone to know about me cutting, looks like it'll be me and Adam's secret now...

Adam's POV

We went downstairs to the kitchen and I opened up the cupboard to look for some plasters for Tommy. When I opened the cupboard, lots of medicine boxes fell on my face. I shrieked and Tommy burst out laughing, after a while he managed to say, "you scream like a girl!" I chuckled and picked up all the boxes. "Well you squeal like one when I tickle you!" Tommy immediately stopped laughing and looked at me wide eyed. I chuckled, "don't worry I won't tickle you...yet". Tommy chuckled too before sitting on the kitchen counter. "Aha! Found the plasters!" I took a few out of the box and went over to where Tommy was sitting. I rolled up his sleeve and gently put plasters on his cuts, he winced whenever I touched his arm. "Are you sure that you're ok? Maybe I should take you to the hospital"
"No no no, I'm fine you don't need to! Honestly." I gave him one last worried look before a sly grin appeared on my face. "Why are you looking at me like that? No Adam...ADAM NO!" I started chasing him again, "I'm gonna tickle you!" He shrieked and ran to the sofa, hiding behind a pillow. I tackled him and grabbed the pillow off of him. He shrieked with laughter as I tickled him.

"Adam! S...stop! Pl...please!" He choked out as I continued to tickle him. "Oh fine, I think your punishment is finished for today Pretty Kitty." He raised an eyebrow at me and said, "Pretty Kitty? Is that what you call me now?" I smirked. "Maybe it is."
"Alright then Babyboy" he chuckled. I rolled my eyes and joined in. Tommy stretched and sat up before asking me, "hey Adam I was wondering, can we maybe go out to the mall today? You know, just me and you." I raised an eyebrow and smirked again. "Like a date?" He blushed and hid his face behind his blonde fringe. "Of course we can Pretty Kitty" I smiled.

Tommy's POV

As Adam took my hand, I stood up and we made our way to the door. Adam grabbed his keys and we headed outside to the car and drove off to the mall.

When we got there, I darted out of the car and ran inside my favourite shop...Hot Topic. Adam laughed and chased after me, holding all of the stuff I picked out and a few for himself. I suddenly stopped in my tracks and Adam asked, "what's wrong Pretty Kitty?" I sighed, "how am I gonna pay for all of this? We'd better put my stuff back." Adam made a tutting noise and wagged his index finger in my face. "I'm paying for it Glitterbaby and that's final". I glared at him and tried to snatch my stuff from him but he dodged and ran for the checkout. Before I could stop him he'd already handed over the cash and was holding two bags, one for me and one for him. "Here ya go Pretty Kitty." He handed me my bag and kissed my forehead. I blushed and we headed out of the shop.

After we'd eaten lunch and gone back to the car, Adam started driving us somewhere that wasn't home. "Adam where are we going?" I asked curiously. He smiled and replied, "it's a surprise Glitter Kitty."

"Did you just get my two nicknames and mash them together?"

"You bet I did!"

"You're weird Babyboy."

"That's why you love me." He placed his hand over mine and I entangled our fingers. I sighed with happiness and stared out of the window. Could my life get any better than this?

We finally reached Adam's surprise place and he guided me to a small cliff with a beautiful view that looked across the whole city. "Wow! This place is breathtaking!" I whispered and sat down beside Adam underneath an old tree. "It sure is isn't it?" I closed my eyes and leaned my head on Adam's shoulder, he rested his head on mine. "This is where I come when I need to think and get away from life for a while" he told me. I nodded, "I wish I had a place like this too."

"We can share it if you want?" He smiled warmly at me. "Thanks Adam, I'd really love that." After about an hour, Adam got up and pulled me with him. "Right, we'd better get going before it gets too late." I nodded my head in agreement and we headed back to the car.

After driving back home, me and Adam headed upstairs to his room and flopped on his bed. "Hey Pretty Kitty do you mind getting my phone from Neil's room while I have a shower? I was charging it in there cause I couldn't find my charger." I smiled and stood up, "sure thing". Adam winked at me before heading into the bathroom and I went into Neil's room. He wasn't there so I assumed he was out somewhere. I got Adam's phone off Neil's bedside table and headed to the door. Just as I was about to open it, I heard Neil coming upstairs. Not wanting to get caught since he would be pretty mad if he caught me in his room, I quickly darted into the wardrobe and prayed that I wouldn't get caught. "Yes I think Adam's in the shower now...just climb in my window! No I have no idea where Tommy is...Just hurry up!" Neil slammed his door shut and locked it. I held my breath as Neil walked to the window and opened it. "Finally! Took you long enough!" A familiar voice complained. "Yeah yeah whatever, now how are we gonna sort out Adam and Tommy?" I tried to move closer to the door so that I could hear them better, but tripped over a pair of shoes. I silently cursed as the wardrobe door swung open and I fell out. Neil and his partner jumped as I landed at their feet and to my horror, his partner was no other than... Sauli Koskinen...
