I asked Beth to stay over at mine the night before the concert because we needed to collect the tickets from the man on the phone quite early for some reason. Aparently there's something else he needs to tell us before the concert...? We where having such a fun night. We watched movies and ate loads and loads of popcorn and sweets but the best part was we listened to all three Bon Jovi albums in preparation for the big night. It was around midnight by the time we fell asleep, I knew we should have been asleep sooner but I could help it. I was way too excited.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* normally my alarm sound shatters my ear drums and is the last thing I want to her first thing in the morning. But today it was like an angels choir greeting me with a soft song....kind of. The day was finally here and I couldnt wait. I shoved Beth until she woke up "what the hell it's 7am....it's like the middle of the night" Beth said as I coxed her out of her blanket cucoon, "don't be such a drama queen, c'mon we gotta go soon".

My mum drove us out to Glasgow - which is where the concert was gonna be - and we met up with who I assume from the phony accent was the man who called me. He asked us very nicely to come into his office and he started going over all the things he had told me on the phone. But then he said "ok so there's something I didn't tell you about the tickets" straight away I assumed the worst but he actually said " they are VIP front row tickets. So you'll be able to get up close and personal to the band" once again I was speechless. Things like this never happen to a girl like me. EVER!.

It was finally time. We where qued outside the concert hall and I couldnt stand still. We where let in first because we had VIP tickets which was so awesome. Although I did feel a little sorry for all the fans who had been lining up for hours and hours and would still probably end up in the 99th row. Luckily i know jon always makes an effort to connect with the whole audience. He's good that way.

It was pitch black in the hall and I could hear everyone cheering already, in anticipation for the band playing. A dull blue and yellow glow came upon the stage along with thick smoke. And then I heard the best words ever "SHOT THROUGH THE HEART" as you can imagine the whole audience screamed and started singing along to the rest of the song. I was screaming so loud I swear I want deaf for a brief moment. Me and Beth where so close to the stage, at one point I am sure Jon looked straight at me and smiled! I smiled back, obviously. The night was going amazing, but then suddenly when Jon started singing the chorus to livin on a prayer the crowd got really rowdy. Everyone was pushing and shoving forwards and I was being crushed against the barrier. Before I knew it I hit my head on the metal bars and fell to the floor.

I don't know how long I was out for but I woke up and had no clue where I was. I heard a faint voice "hey?" It was smooth and slightly husky. "You alright miss?" I looked around and my eyes came to rest on the one, the only Jon Bon Jovi! "You hit your head pretty hard there huh" he put his hand gently on my forehead and stroked my hair away from my eyes. I couldn't believe what was happening. " where am I?" Was the first thing I said as I was too disoriented to say "OMFG YOU'RE JON BON JOVI" it was quite dark wherever I was and I was slightly scared. But that was short lived as Jon was still stroking my hair. "Well here's the thing" he said suspiciously "I couldn't leave you in a heap so I sorta asked my body guard to bring you to the bus" *WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING* I screamed in my head - in a good way - "no way!?" I actually said, as i began to become more aware. "Way" he said giggling a little. "Is that ok?" He said, now his hand has moved off my head and he handed me a cup of water. I took a sip and said "it's more than ok" I looked really happy for some reason. He just sat next to me smiling.
This is by far the best day of my life!
