I wondered for a moment who could possibly be visiting. It couldn't be my parents *thank god* they where still the last people I wanted to see. I thought for another moment and came to the conclusion that it must be Beth. I hadn't seen her since the concert and I really did miss her. This had been the longest period of time I had ever spent without speaking to her and I had so much to tell her, about Jon mostly. After all she was my best friend and we were practically sisters.
The nurse popped her head back out the door and I sat up straight , fiddled with my hair to try and straighten it up a bit,but I think I just made it worse. *yep* I thought to myself as I glanced in the mirror, I had tried to make a sort of messy pony tail type thing but ended up with just a messy mess. Oh well, she was my best friend, she wouldn't care. I could literally paint my face green and wear a pink afro wig and she wouldn't pass a judgement.
I couldn't help but plaster a cheesy grin on my face at the prospect of seeing my best friend again. Hopefully she wouldn't be too annoyed at me for ditching her. The door slowly creaked open and I wriggled around in my seat in excitement. I was getting prepared to jump up and give her the biggest bear hug ever given. The door opened fully. *GASP* my eyes widened and my jaw dropped, it wasn't Beth at all. I couldn't believe it. It was them, it was really them! "SURPRISE!" they all shouted at once. It was Jon and the boys! I covered my mouth with my hands to stop myself from screaming too loud.
As they yelled the thoughtful greeting, they all flung their arms up in the air and had huge open mouthed smiles. I couldnt believe what was infront of me. Richie was holding a helium balloon which said "get well soon" on it and David was holding a bunch of lovely purple and yellow flowers. They were my favourit colours *how did he know?* the sentiment brought tears of happiness streaming down my red cheeks. "you didn't think we'd run off without making sure you where ok first did ya?" A sweet husky voice said. I looked to my left and there he was, the most perfect man alive. Jon Bon Jovi.
He had his hands on his hips and was leaning slightly to one side as he smirked at me with a tilted head. Why did he have to be so perfect!?. Everything about him was mind blowingly gorgeous, right down to the outfit he was wearing. He had a pair of tight black and red leather trousers on - which left little to the imagination - with a low scoop necked vest. *Lord have mercy on my teenaged soul!* he also had a load of scarfs and dangly things around his trousers sort of like a belt, I always thought he had impeccable dress sense, but this was another level of hot. I looked down at the floor as I felt the blush rush to my cheeks. I couldn't believe it...the whole band had come to the hospital just to make sure little ol' me was ok.
*dont freak out, dont freak out, dont freak out*
I would have thought that after already spending time with them on the bus I wouldn't still be in major fangirl mode, but I suppose when your as big a fan as I am it's impossible to not get so excited.
Jon's red cowboy boots clicked along the floor as he approached the bed. I was still sitting on the side of it unable to move too much, when he stopped right infront of me. He crouched down to look me in the eye and placed a finger under my chin to lift it up, just as he had done that first time we met. My brown eyes met his baby blues and I felt something click inside of me...like a spark had ignited. I felt warm and at ease now that he was here. As he gazed into my soul he didn't say anything, he just gave me a massive toothy grin and stood back up. "So..." he said holding his arms out and taking in the room in all its "glory" . "this is how royalty lives" I giggled at his obvious sarcasm, as did the rest of the boys. "I mean it's not the four seasons, maybe just Autumn and winter, but it's not half bad" David said as he inspected the white room. All of the boys where now plodding slowly around the room, looking in every nook and cranny for anything that might be of interest. I looked over to Richie who had his thumbs tucked into his belt, he was walking around like some outlaw in an old western movie - he always had to add a little pazaz to everything he did. He raised his eyebrows, stuck out his bottom lip and pulled the sides of his mouth down to create a kind of half grimace half look of approval as he said "not bad, not bad"
