"I'm here to bargain with you, Lauren. I'm going to be up and front about it," Chris said interlocking his hands together. Lauren raised an eyebrow, urging for him to continue. It was only the two in the room, at the moment.

Chris had pulled Lauren aside to talk to her in private so Dinah decided to busy herself up and head over to where Camila was sleeping. Lauren was concerned with what Chris wanted to talk about because he seemed very serious about it.

"Bargain... what exactly?" Lauren furrowed her eyebrows, a puzzled expression plastered on her face. Chris sighed and stared straight into Lauren's eyes.

"Before I came over here, I talked with mom and dad. I told them that I wanted the company. That school didn't feel right for me anymore." Chris explained and Lauren sighed.

"You're thinking of dropping out of school? Chris, you only have a year left of school! What the fuck, Chris?" Lauren exclaimed not understanding why he was thinking about doing this. It was way too troubling.

"I already dropped out, Lauren. I was thinking about it... I realized that even if I do get a business degree, you'll still be in charge of the company because you're the oldest. So that fucking degree is a waste of time."

"Why do you want that spot so bad? I've been preparing for it, dad has literally been training me. I finally have a girlfriend and I'm going to be in charge, Chris. Go back to school, education is important." Lauren said and Chris shook his head.

"It's not fair. Just because you're the oldest shouldn't mean that you have a definite spot of being the next person to have the company given to you. School isn't for me, Lauren! Just let me have your spot. I already have a girlfriend and I'm ready to settle down and have this company!" Chris exclaimed.

"Chris, why are you doing this all of the sudden?" Lauren asked, confused by all this. Chris had never complained about school to the extent where he wanted to drop out. This was out of the blue.

"I thought about it and realized I don't wanna be a pawn. I don't wanna have to work for you. I want to be a leader in the company. I want to just hurry up and be successful already."

"And you will! Once you work up to it. I'll give you a job, you know that, but you have to work for it, Chris. Don't take the easy way out."

"Fuck that, Lauren! Just please help me out," Chris pleaded.

"What'd mom and dad say about it?"

"They said they'll let me be in charge if either you give it to me or you and your girlfriend break up. I don't want to have to tell you to break up with your girlfriend so c'mon. I'm asking nicely for you to help me out and give the boss job for me."

"No, Chris. Go back to fucking school, you only have a year left." Lauren said and Chris ran a hand through his hair, frustrated.

"Lauren, we're siblings! Come the fuck on!" Chris exclaimed.

"Exactly. So, I don't understand why you're asking me to do this. I think you should leave now, Chris." Lauren said and walked towards the door.

Chris huffed and trudged out the door but called out to Lauren before he left, "I'm going to get that fucking job, Lauren."

Lauren sighed heavily and closed the door. She rubbed her temples before heading over to her room where Camila and Dinah were.

"Okay, bye girly. I'll see you later, yeah?" Lauren heard Dinah, most likely saying that to Camila.

Dinah walked out crashing into Lauren. "Oh shit, sorry Lauser."

"You're leaving already?" Lauren asked and Dinah nodded.
