A/N: hi. thank Lauren and her day of birth for this update. okay bye enjoy :,) (if you're still reading this story... you're a real one)

Dinah had her hand around Lauren's wrist as she waited by the car. Dinah had texted the girl's that she found Lauren and that they should head over to the car. The Polynesian's plan was to just drop Lauren off at her place and then to return to the mall- since it wasn't that far from her house.
If the girl wasn't feeling it, she wasn't feeling it. And Dinah respected that.
"Dinah, let go." Lauren huffed as she tugged on her hand trying to remove it from Dinah's iron grip.
"No, honey." Dinah firmly said while she looked at her phone that was placed in her other hand.
"Lauren! What were you thinking?" Normani exclaimed once she got closer to Lauren.
"I was thinking that I wanted to leave the group. So I did." Lauren shrugged.
"Don't do that shit, again. Did you feel like leaving would make you shine in the spotlight? Because, all it really did was make us annoyed that you decided to leave right when we got to the mall!" Normani exclaimed as she pointed her index finger at Lauren.
"Look, just go back in there. I don't see the problem, I'll call an Uber." Lauren tried to negotiate. She really didn't know why they would come all the way back. Lauren could find her own way home.
Camila and Ally stood behind Normani since it seemed like Normani was handling the situation pretty well. As always.
"Fine, whatever. Can someone go with her?" Normani asked.
"Let's go, Camila." Lauren stated, grabbing her hand. Camila's eyes widened as she was being pulled away by Lauren.
Camila looked at Normani for help but she shrugged and waved her off.
"Lauren?" Camila asked in a small voice.
"What?" Lauren spat out.
"Uh- erm, are you okay? I can stay with the girls, maybe you can talk to Mani-"
"No. We need to talk. You know we need to talk." Lauren sternly said.
"Um, I don't know what you're talking-"
"Camila, shut up before I make you. And no, not in a flirty way. More like... I'll leave you on the side of the road type of the way." Lauren said and Camila immediately hushed herself up. She tapped her shoes together and looked at the ground. If only she was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. She could just magically wish herself home.
Lauren pulled out her phone and called up an Uber that said it'll be at there destination in a couple of minutes. After that, the two were silent.
After about two minutes of silence, Lauren finally spoke. "Uh, sorry. That was a little harsh. I just- fuck, I don't know. Let's just start off with this. I... heard you guys in the kitchen."
"What... what exactly did you hear?" Camila asked.
"Camila, I'm sure you fucking know. I just don't understand. Our flirting... the way we act with each other... it meant nothing to you?" Lauren asked, a sad tone evident in her voice. Camila tilted her head and looked away.
"I never said that." The brown-eyed girl murmured. "I- I didn't mean anything of what I said to the girls. I'm sorry that you overheard."
"Then why... why would you even say that to them? How could you say those words so easily if you didn't mean them?" Lauren asked, confused. She really was trying to understand the younger girl and her feelings but there were so many pieces to her puzzle.
