I dedicate this to Bakerstreetbabe889-As I open my eyes, I blink, trying to take in the harsh light. the TARDIS seems to know what I wants and dims the room.
I get up after ten minutes of letting myself come to terms with the fact that I met the Doctor yesterday, and now I'm in his TARDIS. I shower and put some clothes on which the TARDIS provided. I had my own walk in wardrobe, how cool is that?
As I walk through the corridors to the main console, I wonder how I should ask the Doctor if he knows about DW. all to soon I am there and I can see the Doctor fiddling with some controls.
"Morning" I grin, "morning" he replies. "watcha doing?" I ask, realising I am procrastinating. "I'm just trying to work out... stuff" I save myself the trouble of a long, complicated, confusing explanation and don't try for a better answer than "stuff".
"Sooooooooo' I say awkwardly. "do you want breakfast? you look hungry." asked the Doctor trying to fill in the gap. "yes thanks, now you mention it, I'm starved."
He leads me towards the kitchen. "here" he says "look around, see if there's anything you want to eat" I nod great fully and open one of the massive fridges. custard. I should have known. a whole freaking massive fridge of custard. not that I have anything against it, it's just so... Doctor. I open the freezer and am not surprised to see boxes upon boxes of fish fingers. I look at him quizzically and he shrugs "fish fingers and custard are good" is all he says. I shake my head.
I am tempted to ask if he has any apples, but that would be dangerously close to revealing my "secret". he takes a box of fish fingers and puts them in the oven.
"Breakfast, he says" I raise an eyebrow but don't question. I've always wanted to try fish-custard, and to do so with the Doctor was an offer i couldn't pass up. surprisingly, they weren't bad.
As we sat and ate, I got up the courage to ask the Doctor about DW.
"Doctor?"
"Mmmmmm"
"Have you ever heard of the actor Matt Smith?" I ask.
"Yup" he says and a huge weight lifts off my shoulders. "He did those two movies, clone and Christopher and his kind"
"Oh" is all I say. "how about David tenant" I try again.
"Of course I know David tenant!!! he played hamlet in... well... hamlet, and he played a small but cool part in Harry Potter."
"Right, I spose he did. yeah."
"Um... howwabout um... Steven Moffat?"
"Best buds, me and him, where do you think Sherlock gets half his deductions? although I say best buds but..."
"Russell T Davis???"
"He did that kids TV show didn't he? the one that gave kids an alternative to television, which, is ironic because he was doing via television. got any more? I like this game!"
I smile weakly "Christopher eccleston?"And so the game continued but I knew from that point, given the fact that he seemed to know so much about the people I asked him about, that the Doctor did not know about DW. this was not good.
