Waking up, I go to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. good old fashioned weetbix. Yum. I poor milk in the bowl, sprinkle a little sugar over the top and dig in.
Unfortunately I have to go without chopped up apple on top; the doctor never has any apples so I have to settle for bananas instead.
...
I find the doctor fiddling with the scanner in the console room.
"Wattcha doin"
"Oh nothing." Is all I get back
"Nothing as in actual nothing or nothing as something that you can't be bothered explaining"
"...The latter"
"Ok, could you fill me in anyway? I've seen you say nothing like that before. You know? Like the time when you didn't let Amy know that her boyfriend was erased from time or that time you weren't sure wether Amy was pregnant and then she was, or the times when Clara kept dying and you didn't know why but you didn't her. I could go on"
"Ok, good point...
Remember when I first took you with me in the parallel universe, and I didn't like the way the ground felt? And that Ood was acting all weird?"
"Yup"
"Well, it could just be the fact that it was a parallel universe and that's just how things were."
"But you don't think so."
He faltered.
"No"
