Chapter 9

Stori's POV

'I came in like a wrecking ball!!' Is what I woke up to, I sit up confused then realize that it's just Trinity calling me. I rub my eyes and look for my phone when I find it I answer.

"Hello?" I ask sleepily

"Stori, what are you doing? Wait did I wake you up, I'm sorry."

"No Trin you're alright and I just woke up from a nap, I think," I say laughing and I hear her laugh as well.

"Oh yeah, I called because I was wondering if you want to have girls day tomorrow with Blake and me? My mom gave me some extra money to do whatever I want."

"Hell yes! I need one after the last few days. Oh my god, I never told you or Blake I feel like a bad friend now. Oh well, you guys are going to know everything by the end of the day tomorrow." She laughs then I laugh

"Okay then can't wait to hear everything. I'll be by to pick you up tomorrow and I don't know what time so I will just text you when I'm leaving my house. I'll see you later babe." She says laughing and I bite my lip.

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." I hang up the phone and I sit my phone on the bed next to me. 'This is exactly what I need. A day getting away from all this Jesse shit and hanging out with some good friends.' I look at my phone to check the time and see that is is almost 9 o'clock I groan and get up walking out of my room. I get to the bathroom and look in the mirror as laugh at how bad my hair looks. I grab my hair brush and a hair tie, I walk out of the bathroom and start brushing my hair as I walk into the kitchen. I walk over to the Keurig and turn it on, I finish brushing my hair while I wait for the water to heat up. I set the hairbrush down and reach up into the cabinet getting a coffee mug, I put a cappuccino cup into the Keurig and then I put the mug under the spout. I click the medium sized cup button then walk bak to my room to put on some pajamas. I walk over to my dresser and get into the bottom drawer pulling out a big t-shirt then a pair of shorts. I slide my clothes from earlier off and then slide on my PJs 'I'll shower in the morning before Trin gets here, oh yeah I need to ask mom.' I quickly throw my hair up into a messy bun as I walk out of my room and I head down the hall to moms room. Quietly I knock on the door then wait to see if she responds, I hear a faint 'come in' so I slowly open the door walking in.

"Hey mom," I say smiling as I walk over to her bed and I sit down on the edge of it.

"Hey sweetie. How was your day?"

"Um it was fun then it got confusing." I say as I think about what happened and I start to chew on the inside of my lip.

"Wanna tell your momma what happened?" She asks as she sits up and leans against the headboard.

"Well I went to the Circus" I say smiling "With Cat, Jordan, and Jesse." She raises an eyebrow at me but let's me continue "Jesse is a boy that I kinda like but I shouldn't he was there the other day when we were hanging out at Jordan's, anyways he does this thing where he will kiss me then pretend that it didn't happen. So today when we got back to Cat's he kissed me again and I pulled away asking what it meant. He told me that it didn't mean anything he was just filling his needs or some shit like that." I say rolling my eyes. 'You're not going to cry over it. He's not worth it Stori.'

"Oh sweetie" my mom says smiling and she moves wrapping her arms around me. "He's just a boy don't get hung up on him."

I smile "Can I have a girls day tomorrow with Trin and Blake?"
