Dont tell her

I decided to tell Derek about the person who kidnapped Meredith and Lexie. I walked in halfway out the door.

"Derek" I whispered as he sat next to Meredith watching tv "Derek!" I whispered a little louder then before, trying not to get Meredith's attention. He looked up seeing me leaning on the door way. He frowned being confused as to why I'm calling for him. And walked up to me.

"Whats up?" He asked as I stepped farther away from her room

"The person who took Meredith and Lexie is still out there" I told him as his smile went back to a frown

"Are you sure?" He whispered looking at Meredith then back to me

"Yes, they're still looking for him" I told him in disappointment

"Okay, thank you for letting me know" He told me as he went back to Meredith. He smiled as he walked back in, she smiled back at him cheek to cheek. But her smile slowly fell as she seen the sadness written all over her face. She began to ask what's wrong. But I was distracted by the sweet voice that was next to me.

"Do you want to go home?" Owen asked

"Sure" I told him as I intertwined my fingers with his

Derek's point of view:

Meredith seen the disappointment and sadness written all over my face as I walked in.

"What's wrong?" She asked sympathetically as she tilted her head seemingly worried

"Ah nothing" I told her as I sat next to her her

"You seem worried and scared" she told me as she looked at me worryingly

"I'm okay" I told her as I gave her a reassuring smile

"Derek" she protested

"Meredith, I'm fine" I told her as I moved to kiss her cheek

"Okay" She gave in

"Hey" I heard a familiar voice say. It was Alex

"Hi" Meredith responded

"How are you?" He asked as he walked in. He was in his regular clothes and looked like he was just leaving.

"I'm good" she told him smiling

"I just wanted to see if you were okay" Alex told her as he gave her a smile. He then looked over at me with concern. I grew confused at the way he walked out, glancing over at me when he left. I decided to follow him out leavening Meredith confused.

"What's up with you Karev" I asked him following him still

"Don't tell Meredith about her attacker, okay?" He told me as he turned around giving me a stern look

"Okay, I won't" I told him as Started to walk back to her room. He suspiciously walked away.

"Okay what's really going on" Meredith said. Her voice sounding annoyed.

"Meredith!" I told her

"What?" She asked "you're my husband I'm supposed to know what's going on with you!" She shouted annoyed

"Meredith stop it!" I told her as I sat next to her. I wrapped my arms around her as she tried resisting my hold.

"I'm mad at you!" She said jokingly as she tried pushing me away laughing

"Meredith, there's nothing going on" I told her. She finally stopped and paused looking at me. She soon became serious.

"Are you cheating on me?" She asked but before I could say anything she cut me off worryingly rambling on. "You've been acting strange lately and you've been running around ever since I got up and I'm just worried and-" I then cut her off by lightly kissing her.

"I'm not cheating on you, I promise" I told her as I held her in my embrace I felt her arms wrap around me. "But there is something I have to tell you, but I need you not freak out" I told her.

--Cliffhanger... what do you guys think is going to happen next or what do you guys think should happen next??. I was also thinking about doing a second book to this one or I could just keep going on this one.
