Darkness?

"This should be her room" she said walking into my room. Two pairs of footsteps walked around the room. They stopped in front of the bathroom door, fear rose in my gut as I heard the door open. I heard two loud gasps as they walked in. The second person being April.

"Oh my god Alex!" April shouted

"Oh my god what happened to you guys!" Lexie yelled looking around the room.

"Something happened" I told her not wanting to tell her what Derek did yet

"What!" She shouted, worried "who shot Alex?" Lexie cried out

"That guy shot Alex" I told her pointing at Mr. Archer then Alex. Tears spooled out of my eyes. Poor Alex.

"Oh my god Mr Archer shot him, then who shot Mr Archer?" She asked looking over at me then Derek. Fear grew in her eyes "Meredith, we need to get you out of here" Lexie said grabbing my arm

"We need to help Alex! He's alive!" I cried out. Derek tired to come over to me but instead received a discipline from Lexie.

"Don't touch her!" Lexie yelled

"He's fine guys!" I told them as Lexie and April lightly pulled me out of the room

"I was only protecting her, Mr. Archer was going to take her again" Derek told them making them pause and staring at him

"I'm sorry Derek" Lexie said as she pulled me out of the room

"No, stop it! Come on!" I said as I tried to pull away from Lexie and April's grip

"Meredith, I'm sorry he's dangerous. What if he hurts you?" April told me

"He's not though! Guys you're being ridiculous!" I shouted pulling away from them

"Meredith?" Derek asked

"Yeah?" I said sweetly as I looked his pale, tear filled face

"Alex is moving." he told me pointing at Alex stirring in his sleep

"Oh my god Alex!" I said limping over to his body. Alex started to wake up as I went over to him. "Alex?" I asked

"That son of a bitch shot me!" Alex shouted. His voice week and horras. "Where is he? Are you okay?" Alex asked trying to get up

"I'm fine, and the shooter is gone. Lay down" I told him

"What happended?" Alex asked looking at me. I had mixed emotions spreaded across my face, which was highly noticeable.

"D-Derek shot the shooter" I stutterd

"Are you scared?!?" Alex questioned surprised to see that I Meredith Grey could be afraid of the darkness.

"Just drop it okay, Lexie and I I'll will go get help" I said getting up from where was I sitting.

"I'll go, you, Lexie and April stay here" Derek said as he walked out not letting me say a word before he left.

"Mer, Are you alright?" Alex asked propping himself on the wall

"I'm fine!" I shouted walking out of the bathroom "let's get you out of the morbid bathroom!" I shouted again walking back in the bathroom

"Meredith calm down!" Lexie shouted as I began to help Alex up frantically. I let him use my shoulder to lean on as I took him into other the room. I winced in pain as I did so, I forgot I was hurt. I thought I was fine.
