Chapter Thirty-one

                                                                              (Two months later)

Liam's Pov

Brett and I just came back from our appointment, My stomach has got bigger but I haven't felt the baby kick yet. I went into the refrigerator and grabbed a jar of nacho cheese and pickles and when to the couch and sat down. I opened the jar of nacho cheese and opened the jar of pickles, I grabbed a pickle from out of the jar and dipped it in the nacho cheese and ate it. Brett came and sat next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed my cheek. I ate the whole jar of pickles and put the top onto the nacho cheese and put it in the refrigerator, I went back to the couch and sat down leaning my head on Brett's shoulder. He kissed my forehead and I smiled.

"I love you" He said

"I love you too," I said

"Liam," He said

"Yes," I asked

"What would you say if I ask you to marry me," He asked

"I would say yes, Brett I love and no one else but you, I having your baby for crying out loud," I said

"That's good to know," He said

I groaned when I felt a kick in my stomach, Brett gave me a worried look.

"What's wrong, are you okay," He asked

"The baby is kicking," I said happily

I grabbed his hand and pulled up my shirt an placed his hand where the baby kicked before. When the baby kicked again Brett looked at me smiling like a crazy person.

"It's a baby in there, Our baby is in there," Brett said

I smiled as he placed his head on my stomach and kissed it, I ran my hand through his hair and smiled. I hope I get to have this baby, I don't know what I would do if I had another miscarriage. I started to feel tired and slowly fell asleep on the couch. I felt my body slowly being lifted up off of the couch, I wrapped arms around the warmth. I opened my eyes to see Brett looking down at me, When Brett got up the steps he walked to my room. He laid me down and took off my shoes and did the same. He climbed into the bed with me and pulled me closer to him, He started rubbing my stomach and I smiled as he did so. He is going to be the best dad.

"I love you and the baby," Brett said

"We love you too babe," I said

And with that, we slowly fell asleep holding each other.
