A First Date

Y/N's POV

          Weiss and I were currently sitting next to each other, clearly we were both nervous, which to me, was something new to me.  I had never experienced the feeling before in my life until now.  After sitting for a few minutes, I felt the pelican touch the ground, and hatch began to open, revealing the grey pavement of the docks in Vale.

Alex: Alright you two.  Have fun out there, and try to be back in a few hours, 'cause I want some sleep tonight.

Y/N: Thanks Alex.  But I don't promise anything.

Alex: I said try.  Not promise.

          I shook my head, and took Weiss' hand, lifting her off her seat, and leading her off the pelican.

Weiss: Thank you.

Y/N: No problem.  Now follow me, I have a special place to take you that Yang and Blake mentioned to me.

Weiss: What's it called?

Y/N: I can't remember...

Weiss: Haha! Why not?

Y/N: I... can't remember that either.  Ugh...

Weiss: Don't worry, I bet it's nice.

Y/N: Oh!  Now I remember.  Well, all I remember is that it was a dinner.

          She only nodded, which for some reason set off an alert in my mind, thinking that I was doing something wrong.  Lucy told me to act like myself, but also to get rid of some of the Spartan aspects, so I wasn't too serious about everything.  We continued walking down the empty streets of Vale, and as we did, I could see a few lights in the distance, and it was the dinner.  It was called "The Sun and Moon Dinner."  We walked inside, and were seated near the windows.  We both picked up and opened the menus that were given to us, and searched for what we wanted to eat.  

          During that time was silent, and quite awkward for the both of us, so I decided to make some small talk.  

Y/N: So, what are you thinking on getting to eat?

Weiss: Probably a small sandwich, and tea.  What about you?

Y/N: I... don't know... I don't know what most of this stuff is...

Weiss: Like what?

Y/N: What's a... milk... shake...?

Weiss: You don't know what a milkshake is?

Y/N: No...

Weiss: Well, that's what you're going to have then.

Y/N: Why?

Weiss: Because a milkshake is something that everyone should know about.

Y/N:Do you like milkshakes?

Weiss: I do, but I don't have them all the time.

Y/N: Hm, alright.  Then that is what I will get.

          Weiss and I both closed our menus, and the waiter came and took our order.  As we waited for our food and drinks, I started to feel even more nervous, so I deiced to get up, and go to the bathroom, I told Weiss that I would be back in a minute, and when I entered the restroom, I instantly approached the sink, and splashed some water in my face.  I sighed, and looked at my reflection.

Y/N: Being normal, is the hardest mission ever...

          But something brought me out of my thinking state; gun shots and screams were heard.  At that moment, my Spartan aspects began to show, and I instantly took cover next to the door to listen in.
