Marinette's P.O.V.

"Alya! Slow down!" I yelled as my best friend Alya dragged me through one of the most famous and loves park in all of Paris, France. "Come on and hurry up, girl. You want to see Adrien, don't you?" Alya continued on, not even pausing to look back at me as she spoke. "Of course I do, but what if-" I was abruptly cut off by my feet tangling together, causing me to trip and fall.

"Oh my....girl, what am I going to do with you?" Alya sighed as she helped me up. "You know you love me, Alya." I giggled as I stood up. "Mari, look. Adrien is just over there. What's your plan?" She gave me a slight smirk. Glancing over, I noticed that Adrien was in the middle of a photoshoot. "I don't have a plan, besides, he's busy doing his job. I can't do anything." I hit her arm playfully.

Besides, he's far too perfect to notice someone like me. I thought as I watched everything go on. Hearing a high pitched scream and a deafeningly loud crash, I looked over to where Alya was, but she was nowhere to be seen. Quickly finding a bench to hide behind, I opened my purse without hesitation. "Tikki, we have to transform and fast." I whispered to my little red kwami.

"I'm ready when you are, Marinette." Tikki smiled. "Tikki, spots on!" I transformed into my alter ego, Ladybug. I love the feeling of when I transform. Looking around, I move away from the bench and start to search for whoever Hawk Moth has akumatized now. He sure has been keeping Chat and I busy. It's almost an akuma every other day now.

After only a few minutes of walking, I found Alya on a carousel holding a scared little girl in her arms. I tried my best to get them out, but even my luck runs out sometimes. Sighing, I feel a light tap on my left shoulder. "Hello, My Lady. Would you care fur a helping paw?" I turned to see my partner, Chat Noir. "Why of course I would, Chat Noir." I smiled faintly.

Whoever trapped Alya and the little girl are good because it took both Chat and I to barely manage to get them out. "Ladybug! Chat Noir! Can I get an interview with the both of you?" Alya held up her phone with a ladybug charm on it. "Look, Aly- I mean miss. We are a little busy right now. Maybe later." Chat sighed, desperately trying to be nice, but I could tell he was a bit annoyed with out mega-fan who happened to be my best friend.

-After the fight-

"Pound it!" Chat and I smiled as we fistbumped. "Crap, I have to go. I'll see you around, Chat." I went to make a quick exit as my miraculous beeped at me. "Ladybug, wait! Please don't go. I won't tell anyone, I promise." Chat grabbed my wrist tightly. "Chat, you know we aren't allowed to know who our civilian forms are." I sighed, rushing my words as my miraculous beeped once more.

I don't have much time left. I only have a few minutes as Ladybug left. "Please, I won't tell a soul. Just please stay." He quickly turned me to face him. My heart began to race as I knew I only had a matter of minutes until I changed back. "Chat, please." I begged, trying to get out of his grasp. He only shook his head and closed the gap between us, his lips meeting mine.

His kiss was so gentle, but it was so full of want and passion. The kiss lasted well past both of us transforming back, neither of us wanting to pull away. Sadly, he broke the kiss and my eyes fluttered open to see the one and only Adrien Agreste standing in front of me. "A-adrien? Is that you?" I mumbled softly, still stunned by the kiss that just took place.

"Hi, Mari. It's a beautiful night, isn't it?" Adrien smiled. My breath shook as I sat down on the roof of the building we were on. "Mari? Are you okay?" He knelt down in front of me. "It really is you....Adrien. The one I've been fighting next to all this time has been my biggest crush in school." I laughed, tears brimming my eyes. "Are you upset that it's me?" He looked away sadly.

"No, I'm quite happy actually. Are you disappointed that it's me? Have I ruined your image of Ladybug?" I asked, tears rolling down my cheeks. "Actually, Mari, you've made my image of Ladybug even better. I'm so glad that you're my lady. Marinette, don't sell yourself short. You are amazing, talented, beautiful, smart, brave, and most of all....I love you. With or without the mask." Adrien looked at me, his green eyes almost glowing.

"Adrien...I...." I tried, but words failed me and I became unable to think of anything to say. "Now, My Lady, would you be willing to house an alley cat for tonight? My house feels so cold and lonely." He sighed, taking one of my hands in his. "Sure thing, kitty. As long as we sneak in and we don't make any noise, we should be fine." I smiled, feeling more comfortable with him than I ever have.

"Thank you so much, Mari." Adrien hugged me tightly. Hugging back, I smiled to myself. A night with Adrien Agreste who is also my partner Chat Noir. I couldn't be happier. "Let's get home, Marinette. You have a history test tomorrow." Tikki zipped out of my purse. "You're right. Tikki, spots on!" I stood up and moved away from Adrien before transforming.

Smiling, I glanced over at Adrien. "Plagg, claws out!" Adrien yelled, transforming into Chat Noir. "This way, Chat." I glances at him once more before leaping odd the roof and to my room at the bakery. Landing on my balcony with the soft 'thump' of my feet, I let my transformation go.
