~Harry's POV~

There's no way in heaven or hell I'm letting her go out with fucking Adam. This would be so much easier if she wasn't so stubborn and would just listen to me without question. It's one of the many things I love and hate about her.

"Cassidy-" I sigh, closing my eyes. I have to stay calm. I don't want to scare her away or make her angry. I'm trying my best to get her to stay with me and I know she'll go running for the hills if I get angry and violent.

"What is it, Harry? Why do you insist on keeping me away from Adam? There's nothing wrong with him!" she yells. I laugh.

"That shows how much you know him." I chuckle and her expression hardens.

"Well I'm glad you find this amusing," she sneers. "I'm leaving."

I grab her arm, pulling her close to me. She's staring into my eyes, her blazing and fiery with nothing but frustration in them. I wish I could just tell her, but I can't. She would only get pissed at me again and run away.

"Cass, you just have to trust me." I whisper.

"Harry, I am not going to stand Adam up again just because you're being overbearing and paranoid."

"I am not being overbearing and paranoid. I'm telling you the truth."

"Harry, I'm still going. I don't care what your reasons are. Adam's never done anything to hurt me." she argues.

"Not yet." I point out.

"He's not going to hurt me. Adam wouldn't do that." she argues.

"I don't want to fight." I sigh, running my hands through my hair.

"Then just let me go. I owe him atleast this much." she says, peering up into my eyes as her hands rest on my biceps. "Please." she whispers.

"Fine. Fuck." I finally cave and she smiles up at me.

"Thank you." she thanks and leaves a sweet kiss to my cheek.

"But he better not touch you or try anything. And if you need anything, don't hesitate to call. And if he's being a dick, just tell me because I-"

"You won't hesitate to beat his ass. I know, Harry." she laughs and I can't help the silly smile that reaches my lips.

"Good." I say and wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her in close. I can't lose her and if this date goes well, I know I'm absolutely fucked.

~Allison's POV~

"I'm so sorry." I apologize for like the fiftieth time.

"Cassidy, it's okay." Adam laughs.

"I just feel bad." I admit.

"Well, I was really looking forward to our date so I'm not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed when I didn't find you in your dorm. By the way, where were you?" he asks just as I pull into the parking lot for Starbucks.

"Sorry, that was rude of me. You don't have to tell me, it's none of my business." he rushes.

"No, no it's okay." I smile at him. "I was over at a friends. We kind of lost track of time and I ended up staying the night. Again, I'm so sorry." I explain. I purposely left out the part of the so called 'friend' I was with, was Harry. I don't know why but it just seems innapropriate to bring him up on this date, especially considering he and Adam pretty much fucking hate each other.

"It's alright. No harm done. Let's just forget about it, okay?" he smiles and I nod, agreeing.

"A venti vanilla bean frap with extra caramel drizzle and a cinnamon roll." I order.
