~Cassie's POV~

When I wake up, I'm dripping in sweat and breathing heavily. Tears spill down my cheeks and I wipe them away hurriedly. Before I even think it through, my hands are on my phone and I'm dialing Harry's number. I stop mid-way because I see him calling me.

"Hello?" I whisper hurriedly, desperate to hear his voice.

"Cass? A-are you okay?" He asks. I sigh in relief at the sound of his voice.

"Y-yea. I-I'm fine." I stammer. "Are you...are you okay?" I ask him.

"Yea. Uhm...I know things aren't exactly great between us and everything but I was uh...I was wondering if you'd come over? Just for the night?" He asks, and I can hear the nervousness and desperation in his voice.

"What? Miss me already?" I tease him. Though I can't see him, I know he's rolling his eyes.

"Just shut up and get your arse over here." He says.

"Okay, okay. I'll be over in a bit." I say and then hang up. I grab my phone and coat, put on a pair of my boots and hurry over to Harry's flat.

I wonder why he really wants me over. I don't really care at this point. All I know is I'm dead tired, but I don't dare try to go back to sleep for fear that the nightmares will come back. And when they do, they're always worse. Though I'd never even consider saying this to Harry, he's the only one who can stop them.

~Harry's POV~

After Cassie hangs up, I run my fingers through my hair nervously. I'm glad she agreed to come over, but since things aren't the best between us, I can't deny that I'm a bit nervous about her coming over.

I don't bother cleaning up, knowing that Cassie isn't the cleanest person so she doesn't mind for things to be a bit messy.

Not knowing what to do, I go into my living room and sit down on my couch, turning on the telly. I flip through the over 800 channels until I settle on watching I Love Lucy. I don't particularly like the show, but I know Cass loves it so I keep it there.

Ding dong!

Ding dong!

Ding dong!

I take a deep breath before opening the door to find Cassie standing outside, shivering violently.

"Oh my God Cassie hurry up and get inside, you're freezing." I say, ushering her inside. I can see and hear her teeth chattering as she takes a seat on my couch.

I turn on the heater and then sit next to her on the couch.

"Do you want some tea?" I ask her and she nods her head, unable to talk due to her teeth still chattering.

I grab a pot and put it on the stove so it can get hot.

"Harry?" her voice comes from the doorway of my kitchen. I turn around to face her.

"Yes?"

"Uh..I w-was wondering if y-you had any extra c-clothes." she says, still shivering.

"Yea." I say and walk past her into my bedroom, she following me. She stands in my doorway while I search through my drawers, finding one of my t-shirts and a pair boxers. The same thing she wore the last time she was over. I hand them to her and she quietly thanks me.

"Uh...you can take a shower...if you want." I offer.

"Okay." she says and walks into my bathroom, offering me a small smile before closing the door.

Well, right now, things are just a bit awkward but at least she's here. She could have easily just shot me down when I called but instead she agreed. Which makes me wonder, why?
