Harry:
You were shocked when Harry invited you as a plus one to a wedding. It seemed like a big step, and not very Harry like. Not to mention that his entire relation was going to be there and the extent of you meeting his family was his sister joining you and Harry for supper once. Harry assured you that you would make a great impression and squeezed your hand, as you walked into the reception hall. You tried to calm yourself as you and Harry made your way to table 5, to find your seats. You guys were a little early, so you were relieved to see that the table was not already full. You examined the name cards of Harry’s immediate family as you looked for yours and Harry’s name plates.
“Would you just relax,” Harry said patting the seat next to him. Slowly his family started to arrive and you got up to greet each and every one of them. They all were very welcoming and discussed how sweet and proper you were compared to Harry. His father scolded him for not bringing you around sooner, and they all corrected you calling them Mr. and Mrs. insisting you were on a first name basis. Your mind was put at ease, because his family was so easy going. They seemed very interested in your life, as they asked about your school, hometown, and family. You were shocked how much they already knew about you, but they explained that Harry talked about you all the time; you grabbed his leg as he blushed.
After you had eaten, Harry dragged you all around to dance and to introduce you to his extended family and old friends. You finally got to sit down once he went to participate in the Guarder toss. Harry’s mom welcomed you back to the table. She told you how happy you made Harry, and how he never treated any girl half as good as he treats you. She explained how you are her dream and she never imagined Harry finding a girl as sweet and kind as you.
“Look (y/n),” Harry said. You turned to Harry’s seat. He pulled the guarder he had just caught back like a sling shot and flung it at your face. You laughed at his excitement as he cupped your face in his hands and pulled you in for a long kiss.
“You know what this means, right? Were next…” he whispered in your ear. You felt your face get warmer as you looked at Harry’s mom staring at you two.
Niall:
You could tell that Niall was not too big into the whole wedding scene. Every time you looked at him his eyes were glossing over and he did not seem to care at all.
“Niall,” you asked in the car that was heading to the reception.
“Niall, NIALL, what’s wrong,” you finally got his attention.
“Nothing sweetie, I’m just a little hungry,” he answered. You laughed and told him that dinner was supposed to be served in 45 minutes, which caused him to perk up a little bit. Niall held your hand as you walked into the reception; he quickly grabbed your name card and his. He ended up basically dragging you to the table. After about 15 minutes they started serving the food. They set a small steak in front of Niall and a few pieces of chicken in front of you.
“Hey Darling,” Niall said in a sweet voice that obviously had some ulterior motives behind it.
“What,” you asked unfolding your napkin.
Niall eye rapes your plate as he said, “Is there any way we could maybe switch?” You shook your head no, because you really wanted the chicken and you warned him when you guys were filling out the meal choice cards that you would not feel bad for him if he regretted his decision.
He sighed, “But, Y/N… We had chicken the night that we were filling out the cards. How, was I supposed to know that I was going to feel like eating it now…Please… I love you.” You just glared at him and grabbed his plate giving him yours.
