You guys asked about Kath's height. So, you know when a dog sits down, sometimes they're taller than before due to leg or back length. Their head is raised. So sitting down, Kath would be about a head taller than Kakashi. Standing, she's about eye to eye. She's really small, because she's only a teen. I'll try to get a scale drawing...

Third person pov

There was a huge clatter as the pan hit the ground, probably damaging the floor. Kakashi didn't care. There could be a highly intelligent bear under his bed for all he knew! One that could jump onto his balcony, and was smart enough to start walking lightly. Kakashi didn't want to think about it. He was probably about to die. If worse came to worse, he could bolt for the balcony, or teleport.

There was a huge grunt, and a bang as the creature tried to sit up. Kakashi clutched his kunai tighter as the creature hissed, scrambling around in panic. The boy almost sweat dropped when the figure banged it's head on the wall, emitting an annoyed grunt before it tried to sit up again, it's head lifting the bed an inch off the ground before the piece of furniture banged on the ground again.

'God dammit where's the exit.' Kath spun around, pausing when she saw a pair of feet, and a pan on the ground. 'That must be what woke me up.' She thought to herself. Whoever lived here must have come home late at night. Maybe they were a ninja, and they had gotten back from a mission. They had clearly been too tired to notice her under the bed. She was glad she hadn't snored.

"Come on out then... bear." Kakashi said hesitantly, still unsure if it was a bear or not. He heard it snort as though it found something amusing. "Bear... yeah I'm a fucking bear. That would have been better." He heard a voice mutter. A girl voice. She sounded young, his age maybe. It was hard to tell. Kakashi's eyebrows furrowed. "It talks?" Kakashi mumbled. "She, actually." The voice replied.

Kakashi didn't know why there were claw marks, but he supposed a girl could be sleeping under his bed. He wondered who. It didn't sound like Rin, or anyone else he knew. Perhaps she was homeless and needed somewhere to sleep. "Look, if you need food and money, go to the homeless shelter." Kakashi snapped, lowering his kunai. The girl snorted. "They wouldn't let me in." She responded, climbing out from under the bed.

"Don't scream?" She requested of the wide eyed Kakashi. Kath paused as she processed who was standing in front of her. Of course she'd climbed into his apartment! She loved Kakashi, but at this age he was a total stuck-up little brat! He would report her to the Hokage in an instant! Unless she threatened him with her non-existent fire breath.

"D-Dragon." Kakashi dropped his kunai. He was never one to lose his cool or composure, but this was insane! He would have preferred a rogue ninja! This thing... there was a dragon in his room. And it could talk. And it had slept under his bed... and... and just, what the hell!? Dragon's weren't real! But he also knew this wasn't a dream. Kakashi didn't dream. He only had nightmares, and even those had become less frequent.

"You're not real! You can't be." Kakashi sputtered, even though there was clearly a dragon sitting in front of him. Kath looked down at him, tilting her head. "You're right, but here I am." She sighed, shaking her large head. "How are you real?!" Kakashi accused. "I don't know, how are you?!" She responded in a panic. "I asked first." He hissed. "Well I asked second." Kath responded instantly.

"Why're you in my apartment?" Kakashi backed away slightly. He didn't like this. He didn't like this at all. He was just glad she hadn't eaten him yet. "I was being chased by a farmer because he thought I was going to steal his chickens and I just sort of... jumped." Kath looked at the open balcony door. It was day. "I could leave?" She didn't want to. Someone may see her.

"Someone might see you." Kakashi voiced her thoughts. "Exactly." She sighed, looking down. She saw scratches on the floor and winced, raising both her claws so she was sitting in an almost chipmunk-like fashion. "Sorry... I'm still not used to this." Kath said. Kakashi stared at the magnificent creature in front of him. It was clearly strong, with tough smooth scales. "Are you going to eat me?" Kakashi asked bluntly.

'Would that be cannibalism?' Kath wondered. "No, I don't eat humans. I'm actually not sure what I eat. I'm hungry though." Kath bubbled out before she could stop herself. Kakashi raised an eyebrow. This dragon thing wasn't all that scary. "What do you mean you're not sure?" He was still cautious. "Long story short, I was a human, I fell asleep, and I woke up like this." Kath said, looking at her claws.

Kakashi snorted. "You can't expect me to believe that." He smirked. "Well, you should because it's hella true. I had to climb over the wall to get in here because I couldn't fly. I can't believe no anbu saw me." Kath said, more to herself than to Kakashi. She was going to go with the assumption that this was all a dream.

Kakashi stared at the girl-turned-dragon in front of him. He was good at picking up on lies, and he didn't feel like she was. "Do you have a name then?" He questioned. "Kath." The dragon responded, it's magnificent scales glinting as it rested it's paws on the ground once more. "I'm Kakashi." The silver haired boy responded absentmindedly as he thought about what to do with her.

He couldn't kick her out without causing an uproar in the village. Plus, if this dragon really was a girl once, he couldn't just let her be killed. Kakashi was stoic, and uncaring, but he wasn't heartless. This girl, in his eyes, was still a creature. He hadn't ever seen her as a human, so he was seeing her as what she was. A dragon. And she was awesome. Kakashi couldn't just throw her out on her own. He wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Plus, she did keep him warm all night.

Kakashi sighed, glaring. "Wait here. And don't break anything." He grabbed a pair of clothes and started towards the bathroom. "Ah, right." Kath held her paws up in surrender, tail swishing behind her. Kakashi narrowed his eyes. Kath gulped. She was glad he wasn't kicking her out, but little-Kakashi was a scary dude.

With one last look, the slightly-unnerved Kakashi entered the bathroom, thinking of what he would need to take care of a dragon.

~

I know, Kakashi is supposed to be hella cold. But let's think about it.

You hate absolutely everyone, and everything. Except for nature. You love your pet dogs. And a homeless motherfucking dragon shows up in your room, do you kick it out and start possibly village-wide panic and watch it get captured, experimented on, and killed?

Probably not!

I hope that's okay. I feel like I made him except it too soon. But he's seen a lot, right? He has a talking dog! I mean, there are people who can see shit before it happens with their eyes, and people who control shadows, and people who can see inside of people with their eyes. So a dragon isn't too far fetched! I mean, Kurama is a giant fox with nine tails!

*Sob*

Is it fine? I'm actually really worried it's like, bad and too sped up. Like, he didn't try to attack it or anything-

And low-key got over his shock really fast. But Kath is so human-like and awkward and he was still nervous when he went in the bathroom-

*Anxious sob*
