Reds POV

Spirit didn't go to school today. Not having Ghost around the house was odd, she graced us with her presence and shes completely disappeared.

Spirit has been cold, quiet and doll-like since the murder of Ghost. We keep her in the house whenever Slenderman sees The Rake. Jeff, Jane and Slender have been pushing her to the max in training. She can now fully control her dark powers  unlocking new skills everyday. We believe that they may have originated from Zalgo himself.

Now, I'm sat on the porch watching Spirit unwither Slendermans roses, which are extreamly beautiful, but not if you pick them, they appear to be black until you get close, then they glimmer with all the colours of the rainbow which makes you want to pick them. Thats when Slenderman gets to kill you. Spirit quickly pulled her hand back quickly, she had pricked herself on the thorns.

Slender appeared out of the blue to see the damage Spirit had done to her hand. She lifelessly looked up at his towering form and somehow he returned the stare. Movement of a grey blur in the woods caused them to stop staring.

Slenderman stood a little taller and Spirit growled menacingly.

Spirits POV.

The Rake came out of the woods with a huge smile on its pale face. "Well well well, the other little werewolf." He had the nerve to smirk. I flipped. I launched myself at him, I gathered all my dark energy inside to conjure up a blade that was sharper than glass but as dark as the void, a neat skill that Slender helped me unlock.

I went for the throat, slicing sideways. I continued my pain inflicting by slicing down both arms and across his chest 7 times.  He screeched in pain. I fely Slendermans tentical arm go around my waist, lifting me off the floor and then I was placed behind him slightly.

"I won't stop till you stop breathing and your blood is decorating the forest floor!" I snarled angrily, laughing mechanically.  "I came to deliver a message to Slenderman." The Rake spluttered, his wounds were deep and impressive, the blood flowed quick but it would not be enough to kill him. "Speak or I'll let Spirit finish you off." Slender replied.

"Zalgo says he will get whats rightfully his," He said, pointing to me." He wants her back on his side." With the message sent, he shrunk back into the shadows. "Wow, I'm terrified but also quite flattered." I said, flicking my hair sarcasticly.

"I dont think your going anywhere, are you?" Red said smiling as she approached us from the porch, she was as quiet as Jane but almost twice as graceful. Her scarlet hair was down and bobbed slightly. "No, I have a life, here with you guys and with Katie and Jynx, but most of all, I will honour my sisters death and kill her murderer when we're finished with this war." I said, facing the woods where The Rake dissappeared into.

"I did not mean for the new recuits to be caught up in the war between us and Zalgo. But I no longer have a choice." Slenderman said aloud, not Red and I, but to the outside world. The presence of eyes was felt, but unseen. The Rake never travelled alone, Laughing Jack would be out there lurking as well.

Suddenly, a blue faced humanoid appeared eating a kidney. "I am glad you have returned, eyeless Jack. It has been a while." Slenderman looked down at the creature.

"You called, I came." He spoke softly, although had a raspy voice. Then took another bite of bloody organ.

"I left the rest of the body for Smile to find, buried by the porch." He shrugged past everyone and continued into the house where there were cheery sounds even though it was still a horrid day. The rain clouds were thick with unshed rain, almost like the tears that would come out of my face later when I climbed into my bed. Lying there in the dark, without the sound of Ghosts shallow breathing to rock me to sleep.

Tomorrow, I will prepare myself for war, I thought determinedly. But first, I will pack up some of Ghosts stuff as a remembrance and finally bury her in a worthy location next to the love of her short life.
