Spirits POV
We waited in the trees for Slenderman to get us praying that Ghost had got to him in time, the cops were about to search the woods with their search dogs when he teleported us away.
"That. Was. Awesome!!" I said, fist pumping the air. We were in the kitchen and Slendy was no where to be seen, Ghost was leaning on the doorframe looking extreamly pissed off.
"Where were you??" She asked, not waiting for an answer. "I have to explain to Slenderman about our powers! He might be able to help you!" Yep, I was right, she was pissed.
"Ghost, she was amazing!" Jeff said in awe, jumping around the room waving his arms excitedly. Jane and Red agreed. "It's all her alpha training she had before the pack killed our parents." Ghost said, her green eyes blazing with anger.
Her powers, like mine, were a little chaotic but easier to control when calm. Unfortunately, Ghost was losing her temper so her powers were flowing forward and affecting the environment around us.
The tap Sprayed Red and Jane with water and jeff had his hair set on fire. I stood in the middle, helpless because I could hardly contol my powers. I looked into my sisters green eyes as she stared into my blue ones.
She had all the elements under her control, but one. The one that she had no control over was darkness, the one that I had been 'blessed' with. My dark gifts were a curse, as no one had the same gift and couldn't teach me how to handle. It is triggered when I get uncontrollably angry.
So, when the water had stopped and Jeffs fire was put out . Slenderman called us both to his office, the imbreachable room. No one could get in or out without his say.
"Both of you start explaining!" He sounded angry and there were marks on his forehead, which told me if he had a face, he would be scowling at us.
"I know about Ghosts, But what about you?" He shouted, pointing at me. "I'm not like Ghost," I said, pointing at my sister again, "But instead of elements, I control darkness, but I'm not that good and no one else was cursed with this uncontrollable gift." I admitted.
"Show me." He said calmly. This was what I had been dreading. "Spirit, do you remember the time when the pack bullied us for beingdifferent from our parents, then we got banished from the pack for lashing out?" Ghost recalled, whilst laughing softly. It was a painful time, the shattering of the mind when forced through our borders. We were trained to be the next in line to rule, but outcast because the pack feared us.
I felt angry, I could feel my eyes burning. All the darkness in the house was gathered in the middle of the room like a large ink spill, Ghost kept talking about the different packmates who pushed, prodded and bullied, which was pushing me to the limit. The darkness erupted in fire, encased in the flames but still somehow pitch black. I thought I had it under control, until it moved and struck the door, creating a giant hole where the door used to be.
Hoodie and Masky were standing just down the hall, mouths wide open and running towards me, I couldnt hear anything, I felt drained of my energy. I was falling towards the ground, I felt someone catch me before I hit the floor. The rest of the night was a dreamless void.
Ghosts POV
Well now Slenderman had a huge hole for a door. Masky had caught Spirit and was taking her back to the room. "She really does need help." Slender said 'looking' at the hole where his door used to be.
"I shouldn't have mentioned half the stuff I mentioned, to be honest," I grimced as Slenderman observed the damage, " Or laughed afterwards."
"You have a terrible background and history, thank badness I found you before she got a lot worse." He replied."Since you agreed to train her, what classes should she take?" I asked as Slender put out some of the fire that was left.
"Put her in My proxie classes, if she passes, she will have graduated with flying colours, if she is killed in the final test then she fails." He shrugged as if it was normal. "Who passes then?" I asked.
"The top 3 students who kill the rest, 16 in total, will pass." He said, teleporting away. I left what was left of his office to check on Spirit. She was tossing and turning in her sleep, whimpering and saying that she was surrounded by so much death. She was dripping with sweat, and I was panicking.
"Red, Jane help me!!" I yelled down the stairs. I heard them run up the stairs together.
"What?" They asked, running into the room. "I don't know whats wrong with Spirit. Shes too hot and whimpering about so much death." I said, slowly dropping to the floor.
"Right, Ghost, stay with us please," Red said, waving a hand in my face, "Go into the bathroom and put the cold tap on, Jane help me lift Spirit into the bath."OK then " Jane replied taking hold of Spirits arm as jane grabbed her legs.
They carryed Spirit into the bathroom, and got her into the ice cold bath.
She relaxed, opened her eyes and looked confused and cold. "Why am I in the bath?" Spirit asked. "You broke out in a fever thing, you were sweating and way too hot so we shoved you in there. And you blasted a hole through Slendys office door." Jane explained.
"Ohh yeah, Is he mad??" She said looking scared. "No actually," I replied, watching her reaction, "He was impressed and asked me to put you into his Proxie class with Masky and Hoodie."
"OMG!" She said, looking pleased and guilty. "Whats up then?" I asked. "Ummm, I'm leaving Red all on her own." She replied, looking at Red.
"I don't mind, your a Slenderman Proxie now, you're moving to the top classes, thats really good. Plus, I was already in a proxie class butI moved to keep you company." She replied.
"Yay." She cried happily. "Well its bed time for you missy, big day tomorrow." Jane said sternly. "All right then. Could I have a towel then?" Spirit asked. I walked to the towel drawer to get Spirits towel, the fuzzy black one.
She got out and wrapped the towel around her body. She still had her clothes on, getting Pj's out of one of the drawers, she shoved everyone out so she could get changed into warm clothing.
When I re-entered the room after about 15 minutes, she was already curled up and in a deep sleep. I left the bowl of soup on the table next to her bed and went back downstairs to join the others in cleaning up the exploded door.
