"How are we going to get back in again?" Selina asks.
"Either we pretend we're rapunzle and climb back up with the rope or we knock like a normal person," I reply.
"Smart ass!" Selina sneered jokingly.
"What's yours even like?" I ask.
"You'll see when we get there, won't you," She smiled. I nudge her playfully and she gives me a weird look. After a while, she pushes me into some door we walk past that was attached to a narrow, tall brick building
"Here," She laughs.
"You live here?" I ask.
"Not exactly here, but yeah, sort of," She hesitates.
The door opened as soon as I was pushed into it and there was a long, dark corridor on the right and then some metal, fragile stairs that Selina pushed me towards.
"Up you go," She smirked. I climbed carefully to the top floor where there was another door I pushed it and we were on a rooftop. She stepped infront of me and walked to the edge. She sighed.
"I can't believe I'm doing this infront of you," She said shaking her head. She looked at me in the eye. "Do you trust me?" She said quietly.
"Yes?" I say, unsure. She nodded approvingly, turned around and jumped off the roof.
"Jesus!" I shriek. I look over and she was down some alley, looking up at me.
"Jump," She commanded. "Don't be scared, trust me,"
"I'm not scared, stupid!" I laugh and I back away from the edge and run off the edge, cheering. Selina catches me in her arms, laughing.
"Admit it, a couple years ago you would have been terrified,"
I think back to that time with Joker, but immediately snap out of it.
"Yeah, probably!" I laugh.
She puts me down and we run further down, go round a corner and enter through the back of a block of flats. She pushes the door open and leads me up a flight of stairs. There were some stairs that were next to it, and two doors. Selina went and opened the one on the left.
"Welcome!" She says happily. I walk in and Selina follows, closing the door behind her. I'm not going to lie, it looks like an absolute tip in there! She had what looks like stuffed animals scattered around the place with their heads off and half their insides out as well. She showed me through each and every room and it literally looks like it had been trashed. She had at least 50 cartons of milk and cans of fish scattered everywhere, and there was streaky black spray paint in a line almost everywhere I look. I could tell she used to like girly things, like I do.
"It's pretty much a tip, huh!" Selina laughs, seeing my face.
I nod.
"Nothing has moved out of place for about 5 years now, I did that the day I died," She added.
"What?" I say confused. "You as well?"
"What do you mean me as well?"
"Ivy's been dead as well!" I tell her.
"Really? Oh. You ever been to hers?" She asks.
"Yeah, that's when she told us," I say.
"What's hers like?" She asks again.
"Like yours, but bigger and greener!" I giggle.
"I see,"
"How did you die then?" I ask. Selina sighs.
"I fell out a window. When I woke up, a load of cats were eating me and almost instantly I gained my strength back. I came back here, trashed the place and changed my look,"
"What's your real name?" I ask.
"Selina Kyle, I think it was. No ones called me by my last name for a while," She responds. "Do you know Ivy's real name?"
"I think she said it was something like Dr. Pamela Isley,"
"That's coincidental," She said, raising an eyebrow. "We better get home, you know what Harls is like,"
"Yeah, I do," I reply.
We left the flat and began to walk home. We mainly talk about our pasts and basically get to know each other.
I talk about how I don't remember my past
"I woke up in Arkham when I was nine, and they've been looking for my name and family ever since," I tell her.
"Have you ever tried theories? Harley and Joker might be your parents," She suggests.
"No, it would mean she would have been about 12 when she gave birth, and she didn't meet Joker until she was 22," I tell her. "what happened to your parents, Selina?" I ask curiously.
"My mother is probably still alive. I just wanted to shut everyone out after my death, and so as you could see, I smashed up my telephone. And for some reason, she never bothered me since. And my father, I'm a little bit like you on that one, I can't really remember!" She told me.
"That day I first met you, did you really kill your sister?" I ask.
"No, I'm an only child! It was the first thing I could think of when you asked me!" She laughed.
"Ivy is an only child as well," I say.
"What about Harley?" She asks.
"I think she has a brother actually, about three years older than her,"
We keep talking until we get back to ours. We were smiling and laughing and talking right to the front door and it swung open. Selina and I look to see Harley standing there, arms folded and scowling.
