Chapter 4
"Come with me" I turned and began walking back to KLPH I could hear Sebastian behind me. When we got back to the Pack House it was about 10 o'clock but the party was in full swing. I lead Sebastian upstairs and into the Alpha's office and told him to wait. I went back downstairs and began looking for Alpha Dalton, I found him at a table nearest the stage.
"Mackenzie Daniels where have you been?" My grams said. Crap I was in for it.
"I'm sorry!! I just didn't want to be grabbed and cried on and reminded I didn't have parents." I began pouting and putting on my best show so I could avoid impending trouble. She got up from the table and gave me a hug and said that's all you needed to say then. Then say back down next to my grandpa, and Luna Lena. I turned to Alpha Dalton.
"Alpha. There's some business I believe that needs to be handled immediately." I said in a business tone to let him know that this was serious. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"What kind of business, Kenny?" He said.
"It would be best to talk of it in private." I said gesturing for him to follow me. He got up from the table and excused himself, I saw my gramps send me a questioning look. I gestured for him to come too. He followed the Alpha and I as we made our way over to Beta Ryan. When we left the hall and were on our way to the Alphas office I began filling them in on what happened. The Alpha listened intently and asked a few questions here and there. When we got to his office we walked in and there say Sebastian in the chair in front of The Alphas desk with his hands in his lap and a serious look on his face.

SEBASTIAN'S POV
I sat quietly in the chair in front of the desk waiting for Mackenzie to return with the Alpha. I had a lot of things on my mind and Mackenzie was one of them. I would've came straight to this Pack House when I first crossed the boarder into this land but I had caught her scent in the air and was curious. I came to the training grounds and saw her running obstacles. I kept my distance so she wouldn't notice me and watched her for an hour then she went and sat by a tree.
'Go closer, there's something about that girl that we need to figure out.' My wolf said and I listened I walked toward her and clapped my hands amazed at her. She jumped into a defensive stance and I told her I wasn't a threat. After sorting everything out she shifted and when she came back I knew what my wolf had been saying this girl was my Mate. But I guess it was only me that knew she must not have been 18 yet. Because if she was then she would know too. So I kept my mouth shut and didn't say anything about it, which irritated the hell out of my wolf, he wanted to tell her and claim her and so did I but I also didn't want to freak her out. When she spoke I melted inside I needed I touch her, hold her and kiss her. It took all my strength to stay where I was and not go to her. She began asking questions and I answered truthfully. Then she told me that we would go see her Alpha Dalton, which confused the hell outta me last time I was here Alpha Rick was in charge. I asked her what happened to him and she froze, her face dropped and I could see she was hurt.
What's wrong with her ?! What happened? Why is she looking like that?' My wolf was going crazy seeing her like that but I kept my composure.
"He died during the war." She said he gaze never leaving the ground. She began leading me to the pack house and that's where I am now.
I had been waiting about 15 minutes when I heard footsteps near the door. I straightened up and held my hands in my lap. Then the door opened and I stood and turned. There were three men and Mackenzie. The black haired man walked to the desk and sat down, the ashy blond haired man went and stood on his left. The old man sat in the chair next to me and Mackenzie stood on the right of the man sitting at the desk.
"Please be seated. I'm Alpha Dalton." The black haired man said.
"This is my Beta Ryan." He gestured to the man to his left.
"This is Hector, our elder." He gestured to the old man. I knew who this old man was though I had seen him before my father had told me who he was and why he was important he was Alpha Ricks father.
"And you know Mackenzie, Hectors granddaughter." His granddaughter ! I thought that would mean she was Alpha Ricks daughter. No wonder she was sad when I mentioned him earlier. I mentally slapped myself.
"Your name and parents name?" The alpha asked me.
"My name is Sebastian Reynolds. My Fathers name was Justin Reynolds and My Mothers name was Marnie Reynolds." A look of recognition crossed his face, and he scratched his chin.
"Justin and Marnie huh. I remember them they died in the war. We thought that their son had died to but a body was never recovered I guess I see why. Why didn't you return sooner or try to contact the pack? He said.
"When the war hit I was 8 and had barely escaped with my life. I had ran out of our boarders and crossed the river that separated the packs. I had rather for 3 weeks east and finally collapsed of fatigue in another packs land. They took me in and the Alpha raised me as his own until I was old enough and strong enough to make it back to this pack safely. Sir." I said keeping eye contact.
"What is the name of the you stayed with?" He questioned
"The Apollos." I said remembering my temporary pack.
"The Apollos. I remember them well." This time it was Hector who spoke. Me turned to the Alpha.
"The Apollos are a strong trustworthy pack. I say we let the boy stay with me for the night then in the morning called up the Apollos confirm his story and hold a ceremony to welcome him back to the pack." Hector said the the Alpha. He leaned back in his chair, then turned to Mackenzie.
"Kenny, you found this boy. What do you think? Should we trust him?" She jumped a little not expecting to have her opinion asked for. She pondered his question for a bit then looked at me and stared back. I didn't notice the Alpha looking at me looking at her until she turned to him and I did too.
"I think we should take his word, he seems sincere in his word and strong at heart. As long as his story with the Apollos shines true a welcome back would be an excellent idea." She smiled to him then at me. The Alpha was still looking at me. He smirked.
"Alright I guess what settles that then. You will stay with the Daniels tonight and return here tomorrow for a finished sentence." He got up and kissed Mackenzie on the head which made my wolf growl.
"You would make an excellent Alpha ya know." He said to Mackenzie.
"Thanks Uncle Dalton." She said smiling. When she said uncle my wolf immediately shut up. It was only her uncle.
"Everyone you are dismissed to go enjoy the rest of the party. but Sebastian I would like a moment alone with a second before you leave." I nodded and stayed seated as everyone exited I watched Mackenzie leave. She smiled at me before shutting the door. I listened as her footsteps went out of ear shot.
