Chapter 5
Then I turned to the Alpha who was leaning toward me on this desk his chin in his hands and a smirk on his face.
"Mackenzie is your mate isn't she?" He asked. Still smirking at me. I just looked at him with my eyes wide and mouth open. How did he know ?
"How did you know ?" I asked shocked.
"The way you were looking at her it was obvious. Only a blind man and Mackenzie wouldn't notice." He leaned back in his chair and continued.
"Yeah as much as I love my goddaughter she is one oblivious child I tell ya. But she is only 17 anyway so she wouldn't know that you were her mate. She won't know for sure until she is 18, well unless you tell her. Which I'm guessing you won't." he lifted a questioning eyebrow at me.
I shook my head no.
"I don't want her to feel uncomfortable around me. Especially now since I'm going to be staying under the same roof." I said.
"Well if your story checks out and it's confirmed 100% that you are not a rouge then I will begin working on getting you a roof of your own." He said. "You guys may be mates but I'm still her uncle and there will be no funny business, got it ?" He was so serious.
"Got it. But um when is Mackenzie's birthday, Alpha ?" if I was going to have to wait for my mate I wanted to know how long.
"Just call me Dalton. Her birthday is actually next week. We are having a big Surprise party right here in the pack house for her. My daughter Kim is planning everything, if you wanna know about it just ask her. It's getting late anyway I'd say it's time to get home the party is about over." He looked at his clock it was 11:45.
"I will drop you off at Hectors house, myself. He probably already left with Susan." Dalton said getting up and going to the door.

MACKENZIE POV
After we left the meeting about Sebastian. Grampas got grandma and we left. He said that we needed to set up for Sebastian's stay. I still can't believe Uncle Dalton asked me what I think we should do with him.
There was a knock on my door. I sat up on my bed before calling for them to come in.
"Kenzie ?" It was my gramps.
"Yeah what's up gramps ?" I asked.
"Sebastian will be here in about 20 minutes. Dalton is dropping him off, when he gets here I want you to come down say hi and welcome him." I nodded and he started to turn around. "Oh and you don't have to go to school tomorrow, you'll be at Sebastian's sentencing with me." Then he turned and left, closing the door behind him. I got up and went to my adjoining bathroom. Turned on the shower and got in. I had been in there for about 15 minutes when I heard the door bell ring. I quickly hopped out and ran to my room to dry off and get dressed.
"Mackenzie, they're here!" Gramps yelled from down stairs.
"Here I come!" I yelled backdown. I grabbed my nike training pants and my nike hoodie and threw it on. My hair was still wet from the shower so I just let it air dry so it wouldn't frizz as fast. I ran down stairs. When I got to the bottom of the steps the door was open and Uncle Dalton and Gramps were talking while grams was talking with Sebastian. He was looking around the house, he looked a little on edge with his hands in his pockets and his eyes wide. He looked at me on the stairs and his eyes soften, and he smiled.
"Hey Sebastian" I smiled back walking toward him the little group gathered at my front door. Grams looked at me and smiled really big.
"What ?" I looked at her and raised my eyebrow. I looked back at Sebastian and his face was pink.
"Well thanks and goodnight Alpha Dalton." My gramps said bro-hugging him. Uncle Dalton left and gramps looked back at me and smiled.
"Okay Mackenzie your Grandma and I are gonna go to bed, why don't you get Sebastian something to eat and show him to his room." He said grabbing grams's hand and heading for the stairs. He called goodnight over his shoulder. Then I heard their door close. I turned back to Sebastian.
"Are you hungry ?" I asked. He nodded and I gestured for him to follow me to the kitchen.
"You can sit at the island if you'd like. Is there anything you have a craving for ? I can make you something." He sat at the island in one of the stools and I sat next to him. Being this close I could smell him, he smelled like moss and river water, it was a nice outdoorsy smell. It made me feel comfortable.
"What do you recommend ?" He asked, which was a good thing.
"Know what I'm gonna make you my specialty. It comes in two dishes." I said getting up and going to get the ingredients from the fridge and cabinets. As I was cooking he started asking me questions.
"So Mackenzie tell me about yourself." He asked.
"Well what do you wanna know?" I asked back while flipping the grilled sandwich on to a plate and getting ingredients for the second dish.
"I don't know like middle name, hobbies, sports, likes, dislikes, ya know stuff like that." He had removed his jacket and was leaning on the island. Went to the fridge and got him a bottle of vitamin water I set it on front of him and he took it happily.
"Well my middle name is Alice, I like to read Manga and write, I play softball, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and I dance, I like roses, the color blue, nike, underarmor, shoes but not like heels and crap like vans and nikes, um i don't like.. Well I guess I don't like when people sneeze or cough and don't cover their mouth." I said. I finished the second dish and turned around.
"Now close your eyes." I said, he raised an eyebrow but did as I said. I turned back around and picked up the dishes and set them in front of him.
"Okay now you can open your eyes" he opened them and smiled.
"Mmm this smells great!" He exclaimed I sat down next to him. As he began eating.
"It's a grilled Ham sandwich with Swiss cheese, ham, mustard, and eggs. And the second dish is a choco-peanut swirl pudding. Like I said my specialty." I say there and watched him finished eating all his food. When he finished I picked up his plate and set it in the sink.
"Well let me show you to your room." We walked upstairs.
"I don't suppose you have any male clothing I could wear." He said hopefully. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to my room. When I touched him my heart skipped a beat. It just felt so right to be near him. He stood in my door way as I pulled open my closet and reached on the top shelf.
"Here." I said handing him a pair of flannel pajama pants and a white t-shirt. He actually looked shocked.
"Why do you have men's clothing ?" He asked taking the clothes from me.
"There my friend Jessie's, he spends the night over here so much that he just left a pair of pajamas for when he does." I said. He stopped smiling and thanked before asking where his room was. I pointed to the room across the hall. I could've sworn I heard him growl, maybe I was imagining it. I shrugged it off.
"Goodnight, Mackenzie." He said before shutting his door behind him.
"Goodnight" I called after him.

Sebastian's POV
I can't believe she actually gave me another males clothing or that she allows another male to stay here. What the hell!
'We have to mark her! Soon!' My wolf said, he was irritated too.
"We can't do that she isn't 16 yet her heat hasn't even set in. We have to wait. It's only about a week then she will realize I'm her mate and we can mark her."
'Ugh fine.' My wolf said.
I sat the clothes on the bed and went to the bathroom and took a shower. I hadn't taken a shower since I left the Apollo pack. That was about 5 days ago I've been running back here as fast I could. When I felt clean enough I got out and got dressed. I laid back in the bed thinking about Mackenzie. The way her long curly hair fell down her shoulders. Her eyes, her smile, her dimples, her scent, she smelled like cotton candy and baby powder. I love her so much and I just met her how was this possible ? I feel asleep dreaming of Mackenzie.
