I told dylan to go to my brothers house and then we'd head to my dads later. I directed dylan to my brothers house and when he pulled into the driveway, we climbed out and walked up to the front door. There was another car, but I wasn't sure who it was. I knocked on the door once before just walking in, noticing Christian and Bret. Dylan stepped in behind me.
"Maddog!" Bret grinned. I looked at him weird. As I always do when he calls me that because it's weird.
"Hey, Mads." Christian said.
"Hey." I smiled. "Where's Nicole and my brother?"
"Nicole went somewhere with her mom and your brother went to the bathroom." Bret said. I nodded. Dylan and I sat next to each other on the couch. Bret sat on the end of the couch furthest from me and Christian next to him. I glanced at the tv. It was a commercial, so I didn't know what they were watching. My brother walked out of the bathroom and sat in the recliner.
"So what happened?" He asked, looking at me.
"She told me not to go home until dad got home then locked me out. I didn't have my keys, so I couldn't go inside." I said.
"She did that in front of Dylan?" He asked.
"Yeah. She doesn't care who's there as long as it isn't dad." Dylan's phone started ringing. He checked it and stood up.
"Excuse me. I'll be right back." I nodded and he walked outside.
"When did dylan get here?" Christian asked.
"Right before the witch told me not to go home. That's why I didn't have my keys. He surprised me and when I walked outside to hug him, that's when everything went down." I explained. Dylan walked back in after a bit and sat next to me again. I looked at him.
"Who was it?"
"My manager."
"What'd he want?"
"I get to go to Disneyland soon."
"That's fun."
"And I can take someone." He smiled at me. "Want to come?"
"Uh, duh! Why wouldn't I?!" He laughed and kissed my head.
"I'll have the details and stuff in a few days so I'll let you know when I do."
