Once seated at Olive Garden, my mom handed me a few envelopes. I looked at her confused, but she just smiled. I looked down and saw my name written out on them. I flipped one over and opened it. I pulled the card out and slowly opened it, one hundred dollars falling out. I read over the 'Happy Graduation' card before reading the handwritten part.

'Hey, sweetie! I'm so sorry I couldn't make it to your graduation! We'll have to make some time and get together with that boyfriend of yours that I've yet to meet! I love you, Mads! ~love, Nanny'

I smiled. My nanny is my moms sister, my godmother. She lives in New Orleans but she works a lot, so we don't really see her as often as we'd all like. I put the money back in the card, making a mental note to text her. I opened the other cards, fifty in one from my grandma and twenty in one from aunt. I was then handed more cards from my dad and granny, getting more money and 'happy graduation' cards. Once they were all opened, the waitress walked over and took our orders.

After dinner, everyone told each other bye and we all headed off. Dylan and I went back to my dads then grabbed our things and climbed in Dylan's car to head back home. As dylan started driving, I looked through my notifications and saw he tweeted about me and tagged me in a picture on Instagram.

@dylandauzat: my gorgeous girl graduated from college today and I couldn't be more proud of her. I can't wait to see you graduate again then watch you start teaching and continue to grow as a person. I love you with all my heart, Maddlynn Marie Murphy and I'm beyond proud of you, words can't even describe

I smiled and looked over at dylan. I leaned over and pecked his cheek.

"I love you, so much, dylan." He smiled and grabbed my hand, not taking his eyes off the road.

"I love you, too, gorgeous." I went back and read through the comments on his picture.

@dauzat.dylan: AWWWW THIS IS SO CUTE CONGRATULATIONS MADDY❤❤

@dylpickle: isn't she only in her second year? How'd she graduate already?🤔

@dylandauzat: @dylpickle she started at community college, which is only two years and now she's going to finish her schooling and be able to teach

@daylndauzat: I don't even get why you like her? She's ugly. Lol

@daddydauzat: @daylndauzat shut up, she's gorgeous. @madsmurphy congrats, love

@dylxndxuzxt: #Mylan is goals af. Can someone love me as much as dylan loves Maddy?!

@kassidylaurence: @daylndauzat imagine being so jealous of your faves girlfriend that you hate on her for no reason...can't relate🤷🏼‍♀️

@daylndauzat: @daddydauzat lol she's not @kassidylaurence jealous of a fat whale? Lol nah, just stating the truth.

I frowned at that comment then got out of Instagram. What did I ever do to them? I was always nice to his fans. I locked my phone and set it down. Dylan glanced at me, noticing my sudden mood change.

"What's wrong?" He frowned. I shook my head, having a sudden urge to throw up. I haven't felt that urge since sophomore year of high school. Oh no.
