James' POV

I stared at my borrowed notes from the Calculus class I missed, geez I missed alot and I missed just one class!

The door of my apartment slams open and a boy about two years older than me enters his blonde hair, and blue eyes wore a embarrassed and not so happy expression.

You could see the tinge of pink on his cheeks before he walked up towards me angrily.

"Dude for the hundredth time why pick me! Why pick me to buy a girls magazine! You know I have girl phobia right?!" he said throwing the hoodie straight on my face without a care.

"Come on Maddy boy! If you had girl phobia you wouldn't be fucking around with a different one each night" I replied chuckling at his state.

"That's different! Those girls provide me with the necessities I need, this was just weird!" he said annoyed.
"You know when I asked them for the magazine the woman at the front desk gave me the weirdest look, I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm gay. And I had to wait for a whole hour because they still hadn't gotten the stock!" he complained.

"I'm sorry" I laughed as I caught the hoodie in my hands.

"Why Vouge anyway?" Maddox asked.

"No reason in particular, now pass the magazine" I ordered.

"Tell me the reason and maybe I'll pass you the magazine" he said smirking.

"We had a deal you get me the magazine, I treat you a big Mac and cheese! My side of the deal has been fulfilled, it's time you fulfill yours!" I spoke angrily.

"I do work in a gang Darwin. I don't always keep up to my word" he said, his smirk growing wider.

"But you should keep up to the bro code" I tried my luck.

"Just tell me!" He said enthusiastic about where this conversation was heading not that I liked it.

"My friend is modelling for the front page! There happy?" I asked particularly pissed off he won the battle.

"Yea right! Your friends with April McKenzie" Maddox replied laughing hysterically, "that's the worst lie you have ever given me! C'mon James I know I thaught you better" he mocked me.

"You know what you could keep thinking I'm lying but I really want to see that magazine!" I say angrily loosing every bit of patience I had.

"Tell me the truth then!" he said standing up straight.

"I wasn't lying" I rolled my eyes.

"Wait you're fucking serious right now?" He asks awkwardly stopping his hysteric laugh.

"Yes, now pass the stupid magazine!" I snap.

"Here! Take it" he says throwing the magazine straight into my face, "teenagers and their bloody hormones!" He muttered, before walking straight to his rooms.

As I slowly caught hold of the magazine I just stared at the front cover, a tall, lean, beautiful, girl, with the most beautiful brown hair falling down onto her shoulders and her brown eyes glowing stared back at me. She was wearing a floor length black dress, that revealed way too much cleavage than I'm guessing she'd normally hate and her back had a net work of ribbons.
