As we entered Lauren's café my hand in James' we immediately took the booth to the far right.

It was a fairly larger than the rest of the booths so we all fit in perfectly. Peyton and Jasper sat side by side making googly eyes to each other, Dean sat next to Jasper whilst Scarlet was next to him. Harvey sat opposite to Scar and I sat next to him so I was directly opposite Dean and James next to me and Justin on the other side of James.

Kailee decided that she wasn't up for pizza as she kept procrastinating on a project that had to be submitted the next day.

A waitress swayed her hips as walked towards us the name 'Cassie' was written on her badge.

"What would you guys like to order?" she said putting on a broad smile and looking towards James' direction.

"Please get us two pepperoni pizzas large and one of Lauren's special large" Harvey answered not even glancing up from his phone.

"Sure. And would you like anything special probably a one on one a special from me" she asked James as she batted her eyes.

The way she said that got me feeling very uneasy in the pit of my stomach. James sensed my uneasiness and put his arm across my shoulder.

"That's a really nice offer but, I've got a better offer to my right" he said looking at me and placing his lips on my cheek as I smiled embarrassed a little.

"Oh..." she said and walked away her eyes flaring in anger.

"You're lucky she wasn't as tempting as you" he said winking at me and pulling me closer into his chest.

"Lucky? My ass! You're lucky I didn't go Wonder Woman on you!" I said patting him playfully.

"I do hope I never give you a chance to go haywire on me!" he chuckled.

I looked up to see Dean smiling at the two of us and I did a double take cause I could not believe my eyes, Dean has a way of surprising me.

"What?" I asked him suspiciously as James started talking to Justin.

"No it's just that- I just can't believe I ever believed Astrid over you!" he said looking down.

"What do you mean?" I asked, nobody else was paying attention Harvey was giving Scarlet a pep talk on some basketball rubbish and Peyton and Jasper well, they were doing couply things!

"Remember when I told you during freshman year that I liked this girl and that I thought she was really pretty and all?" he asked.

"Yeah I always thought it was Astrid" I nodded.

"You really are so delusional and naïve Rilly" he said chuckling.

"Why? Don't tell me it was someone else" I asked surprised.

"Of course it wasn't Astrid! It was weirdly enough you" he mumbled.

"What!?" I asked taken by utter surprise.

"Yeah it was you. Note that 'was' is the keyword, wouldn't want to be creating confusion between you and James now would I? Cause eventually after we stopped talking I think I felt something for someone else but that all stopped when she left without a reason" he said honestly.
